Cool Use Your Old Creed Bottle As An Atomiser/Refill flask

I wanted to minimise the amount small Aventus atomisers I had by getting one big one, but there were none I liked. So I purchased a creed bottle online, to use as one :-)

    1.jpg

Tools used. I used the bigger needle point to start the hole.

    2.jpg

I was going to try and remove the sprayer or insert the needle into it but, decided I did not want to damage or compromise its function. So I poked a tiny needle size hole through the side of the base instead. I marked the hole slightly so I knew where it was.

    3 (2).jpg

    4.jpg

    5.jpg

Transport all done with no loss of juice.

    6.jpg

    7.jpg

Once I transferred all my decants I wanted to seal the tiny hole. I was going to use a pin sized drop of silicon but I decided on clear super glue. This will make sure no air gets in, or tiny drops of juice get out.

    8.jpg

I let it dry and made sure it was sealed by tipping the bottle up side down.

    9.jpg

All done. My Creed Aventus "atomiser" I will repeat as when needed.

You do realize that the black cap and sprayer assembly on that particular bottle (post 2014) pops off if you wrap a rubber band around it and turn as you lift up? This allows you to pour the liquid in at a faster rate due to the nickle size opening, and minimizing the potential of poking yourself with a needle. Just watching out for ya. Message me if your inspired by what I'm telling you. Disregard if you want to continue doing it the hard way. Lol

They don't tell you this because they want you to purchase their insanely priced leather atomizers.

Came here to say this. But I mean hey. If you want to go all Breaking Bad then my all means -- good work -- probably reduces some evaporation (albeit minimal) as well.

Had no clue but thanks. Still useful for other bottles without this feature or people who just dont want to mess with the sprayer Also you can try to use this method on none Creed frags also.

IKR overpriced like crazy. Might as well buy a new bottle of juice with the coin.
Great if you can get it used/heavily discounted or something, but full price no thanks.

Creed Aventus is not juice to play with lightly. You've come to the right place to get support and we will not judge you here. We understand your addiction to fragrances.

Why did Creed do this? It seems weird that they would make their bottles easier to refill, unless they either (1) want to make aftermarket sales more unreliable, which is in their interest, or (2) are planning on offering either purchasable or in-store refills, like Angel has.

Obviously they were aware of this, or at least I should hope so (*shouts out to Creed*). I can see moving from metal to plastic, but the ease of opening seems either mistaken or intentional, and I'm not sure which.

The fact is, a dedicated forger can open up any of these bottles, even with the oldest metal sprayers, add juice, and close them back up perfectly. If it can be put together, smart people with the right tools can take it apart. So maybe not a big deal. But still curious.

Why would you need to repeat? I mean, when would you get MORE atomizers of Aventus? Gray Market Aventus would be cheaper than buying 10ml at a time from random places, right? You already know you like it, so no need to get more samples.

I wish it were impossible to add random miscellaneous juice to a bottle. There are enough fakes out there (or at least concern about fakes).

OK tried your method with another bottle.......excellent does no damage to the sprayer. And there I was doing all this lmao. Only thing I would say is you have to be really careful not to damage the outer aluminium part around it when pulling on it.

To answer your question. I sometimes get 'decants' dirt cheap that's the reason I would need to repeat. Also seeing as how one person already said, and I've found out. Its already super easy to open the bottle by just pulling off the cap. So you might of been buying fakes all along...lol
If you're worried about "fakes" just pay full price at the creed boutiques and stop worrying yourself.

So if I'm reading this correctly you just mix all of your different decants together into a big melange batch?

I have never worried myself - I don't buy off eBay or from other shady places - but there are sure a lot of "is my ___ fake" threads around here, and when other people write reviews or base their opinions off of a bottle that they bought from people doing shady things like this, it really means they are basing their reviews of something that isn't true, and therefore muddying up the waters for people looking to reviews to decide what to try/buy/etc.

I still think getting decants "dirt cheap" is sketchy also - perhaps you should just go in on a split or get a bottle from an online discount site if you want the bottle. I would guess you are the one who may be getting some fake juice. It doesn't sound like you are too concerned about where/how you get the product, just as long as it's cheap. Perhaps a little more up-front investment will save you the trouble of syringes or playing with pliers and all that. In the long run, it's probably cheaper than 5ml at a time anyway.

I am still having trouble with the reasoning behind this revelation, Red. It's only on the 2015's to present, but still, now if someone wanted to......................... Yea, not good for quality control. The stunner to all of this coming to light is the fact that a Creed SA told me this secret and demonstrated this to me in the store behind the counter with a rubber band he had on his wrist. Crazy right?

Your assumptions are probably just self projection, so I'm amused by your snidey rant. I get my decants from an associate at a well known UK retailer, so I'm good thank you..... You worry too much.

Hi I’ve just finally purchased a 250ml flacon of Aventus And I have 2 empty 4oz aventus atomisers. Sorry to be dumb but could you talk me through the elastic band method. Both empty atomisers are the plastic ones from the last couple of years.
    Kind regards

I will probably be doing this with Selection Verte at some future point. Incenza is shipping me a tester bottle of Selection Verte to make up for what leaked out of the flacon they shipped me and the fact that the flacon's face label is marred by the leaks during shipping (making it impossible to display). I will want to eventually use this technique to refill my tester from the flacon.

OP, im also thinking about doing exactly this to keep my bottle collection alive and well. What gauge of needle did you use to make the hole/fill with?

Default Re: Use Your Old Creed Bottle As An Atomiser/Refill flask

Just joined up to say thanks for this. I just bought a 500ml flacon as my 120ml bottle was pretty much empty. I just managed to pull/twist the top off (wore rubber gloves instead of a rubber band wrapped around) and it was fine. Transferred it no problem and then the top goes back on with a satisfying click.
I'm gonna get some smaller bottles (5/10ml) which will be handy for travel/holidays. Are there any particularly recommended?
