Good evening, everyone! I believe we reached a high of 103 outside today. And even though I spent maybe a total of 5 minutes outside (someone has to water the plants), I feel absolutely flattened. Plus the asthma and all the other bloody problems, but really I just needed to kvetch about the heat for a moment.

On the other hand, insane heat calls for some OTT white florals and I'll take any opportunity I can get to wear some of those. So tonight, it's Guerlain Terracotta le Parfum, again, with its indoles and its suntan lotion and that decadent feeling I get when I've been lounging in the sun all day and am now cleaning up and changing for dinner somwhere nice--with that feeling of silk or another scrumptious fabric on almost-sunburnt skin--and needing almost no makeup, because who wants to cover up that gorgeous tan? And looking forward to an excellent cocktail (a Paloma perhaps, or Sangria Blanca--sangria made with Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) and frozen green grapes and other lovely things--or a Bellini--yummmmm . . .). With a perfect pedicure, a Pucci scarf wrapped around my beachy hair, and a pair of gigantic sunglasses. That's the way this perfume makes me feel . . . dahlings.

I might even rock a turban . . . if I had Liz Taylor's bone structure and money.

I'm in synch for today's Annick Goutal Day by wearing Mon Parfum Cheri, par Camille. We've had a cold front move through, it's only 91 degrees here today. I didn't work today so I stayed in the AC all day.

Enjoy your weekend everyone! hugs to all ...
    I've trademarked the color bleu

Thank you for the kind words, Jon! You are making me blush! I must say, you smell fabulous today! Ambre Fetiche and Folavril are favorites! I think I'm on my third bottle of Folavril.

Xscent!! So nice to see you! I was just thinking of you the other day! Hope you are well!

Sea roses, congratulations on your impressive accomplishment and for all of your achievements leading to this point! You must have certainly been the most treasured of gifts to your parents and made them so proud.

Such an exciting wide selection of Goutal fragrances today for the sync! My SOTD has been Musc Nomade. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
