Default Any Lime Fragrances with Decent Performance?

So far it seems I'm more partial to slightly woody lime scents and I also like gin & tonic and mojito reminiscent smells; the Guerlain Homme line fits the bill so that's what I'm using now.

I've also tried Royal Mayfair, which I liked, save for the opening which reminded me of a Gardenia arrangement I smelled at a funeral once, and the poor performance for the price point. The lime in Virgin Island Water is also nice but doesn't last and the fragrance overall dries down to suntan lotion on my skin.

I've heard good things about: Cedrat Enivrant, Ginepro di Sardegna (no lime but apparently it's gin & tonic like), L'Humaniste (supposed to have disastrous performance however) and Acqua Decima (again lime isn't listed as a note but it supposedly has a mojito vibe).

Any other suggestions? Doesn't have to be a strictly woody-lime or g&t or mojito; any fragrances with a dominant lime note, niche and designer- welcome

212 Men Pop! by CH has that mojito note but instead of lime it's replaced with orange.

Lime, guava, cedar- definitely will. I've also heard Nouveau Bowery is good.

Thankfully it does for me as well, really like this line. Just curious what else is out there in a similar genre.

TFK Arab Spring - Ridiculously good performance on just 2 sprays, easily lasts an 8 hour day. It's a very clean & interesting Lime and I say that as someone who hasn't managed to get along with lime as a note with other fragrances both niche & designer. The only 'problem' is it's difficult to find/sample depending on where you are and it's not cheap. I have however seen it in LA, the UK and Dubai at the high end department stores so it's not impossible to find

Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde (technically a feminine, I think, but disregard the gender assignment- it's a neutral scent IMO).

I've given up hope of finding a primary/linear lime or lemon fragrance with great performance. I just don't think it's possible.

Some of the MFK citrus scents DO have great longevity, but they're not really JUST lemon or lime fragrances.

For lime, one of the best I've found for longevity is Tom Ford Azure Lime. I also like the long discontinued Crabtree & Evelyn Extract of West Indian and Sicilian Limes, as well as Royall Lyme.

Profumum Roma perfected the linear lemon fragrance with great performance with Acqua Viva (IMO). Here's hoping they're the house to do the same with lime, someday.

I gave Acqua Viva a chance a couple of years ago, mainly because of things I read about it being THE best pure lemon scent out there, but I was disappointed with it. I've always been on the lookout for a purely linear lemon/lime scent with lasting power, because I love the smells so much. But I have never found it and I don't think purely linear citrus scents (with longevity) can be created. That's just the nature of the game....nobody's fault.

I thought Acqua Viva might be the one, but after sampling, I found that it didn't remain a linear lemon scent at all.....which really isn't surprising, considering the other notes listed in its composition (Sicilian broom flower, cypress, cedar). These other notes ruined it for me, because that's not what I'm looking for. Acqua Viva transformed into something else upon the dry down, just like everything else, and what it transformed into, I did not care for.

You heard correctly. It's very much like Jo Malone's Lime, Basil & Mandarin IMO but with better longevity. I have heard it described as a lime popsicle. I don't disagree with the description and I like the scent quite a bit. Definitely worth a sample.

Christopher Street is a good unisex fragrance with nice longevity and a strong alcoholic lime top note. Worth a try. Roja Dove Diaghilev is uber pricey and not what I'd call a lime fragrance, but it does have a lime top note and lasts forever (12+ hours). You know about Virgin Island Water & Royal Mayfair. I get pretty good longevity from my latest batch of Royal Mayfair (~6 hours).

Aqaysos by Parfumerie Generale/Pierre Guillaume/Huitième Art has a nice lime note, and I quite enjoy the scent. I get a classic masculine vibe from it, like something a WWII navy sailor might wear.

West Indian Limes by C&E is one that lasts fairly well.

Also, from niche, Creed's Virgin Island Water is primarily lime & coconut.
