Default Tell me about swiss arabian perfumes please!

Acquired a couple recently, never heard of them before, elaborate styled bottles, from the middle east possibly? Are they the equivalent of primark in dubai? Next? Zara? What would you liken them to?

I think they are mostly considered mid to low market, though a bit above what Zara perfumes are here. The quality varies, some are great for the price and some are not.

I have three (all oils, don't know what the alcohol version, if any, smells like). Mukhallat Malaki is a powerful synthetic oud, nice when it settles. Mukhallat Shahama is a good oud-amber, better behaved than the malaki. Both worth having, especially given the low price. then I also got a jannat al firdawsi, which can only be described as soap from hell.

They are modestly priced scents and good quality for what you are getting. The best thing to do is sample.

I own Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian, a gorgeous blend of Rose, Saffron, Oud, Vanilla and Praline. It has great longevity and projection. Settles beautifully too and lasts well over 8 to 10 hours.

:-) Love your description of janna al firdawsi! I'd love to see an entire thread devoted to scents that fit the category of "Soap from Hell."
