    Sounds promising.

Hednic, where were these pictures taken? Were these taken at a boutique or some other store front? I only ask because they don't look like stock photos from Mancera.

I have had a large bottle of this for two weeks now. Gave my impressions in the thread
Name the fragrance you tried/smelled today for the first time.

in response to a question posed by Basenoter "Derbyman".

Found it: "It's a very nice smoky and spicy tobacco that opens with a burst of spice (mostly cinnamon and nutmeg) shadowed by a nice touch of incense. This eventually dries down to a warm and slightly sweet tobacco, smooth and refined with woody touches. Performance for me was very good."

The bottle for the splits just arrived and these are my initial impressions:

So the first spray nearly blew my nostrils off with its riotous cacophony of fruity oud that comes screaming out, subtle this is not. Initial sniff gave me the “yep, that’s a Mancera alright” vibe as its got pretty much all of their hallmarks smooshed together into once scent. 30 minutes later once things had settled down and everything was in its correct place in the scent stage it started to make a lot more sense but it was the cinnamon that decided to put in an appearance that grabbed my attention. Remember those fireball jawbreaker sweets from way back when? Well thats exactly what the cinnamon accord reminded me of almost to the T. The tobacco is the usual sweetened pipe variety we’ve inhaled a zillion times before but the combination of patchouli, woods and vetiver give the bottom end almost as much wallop as the opening along with a truck load of spices in the middle.

Longevity is off the charts and overall the composition is complex and oddly moreish once you let it settle down.

Sounds as if I'll enjoy my 20ml split then!

And yes I do remember those Fireball Jawbreakers, oh yes indeed.

Right, got a full day and nights wear out of three sprays and was greeted with a waft of spiced tobacco today upon rising, this stuff is no slouch in the performance department. The drydown is really nice. Very unique due to the sheer combination of notes and worth enduring the 30 minutes of chaos that is the opening.

I do believe that this is one of those scents that smells better when someone else is wearing it due to just how much is going on but overall I'd give it a 7/10.

Yup and one sniff of this one shows that its a Mancera through and through as they must have their own version of Guerlinade that they just throw accords on top of in order to keep on cranking them out.

Got my decant through. The opening gives me a headache! Very loud, and Palm is spot on with the "fireball jawbreaker" vibe. Once it has calmed down I really enjoy the scent. Like TF Tobacco Vanille but without the overbearing sweetness.
