apart from the name it looks disappointingly corporate --- a definite try though

Thumbs up for the name! Also, them having recreated Yohji Homme so well gives me hope that they can still do something good.

The name makes me a little concerned about its performance.

The notes look nice enough...could be a winner if executed well!

Could be interesting, big fan of Yohji. Although yes, the name is a little disconcerting as far as potential performance is concerned!

The name in the title strikes me as so funny in combination with the "homme" designation--I'm not going to disturb you, French guy! Je ne vais pas vous déranger, man!

That's possibly the worst name for a scent I've ever seen, ELDO not excepted. More sensible bottle than proper Yohji Homme though.

The name kind of reminds me of this Yohji quote referring to the colour black:

Black is lazy and easy - but mysterious. But above all black says this: I don't bother you - dont bother me." - Yohji Yamamoto ...

Tried this one and loved it. A big surprise! A type of fragrances that I usually name a "niche for beginners". A spicy rose, maybe with a drop of oud. Softened by fruits and creamy musks in the dry down, it is still a truly wonderful example of a rosy fragrance for men. The bottle is awesome.

Upd. In the dry down I caught cherry tobacco with a Burberry London vibe.

Thank you, sounds nice! Interesting that they don't list rose. I wonder if the artemesia/tobacco combo (or something) replicates it. Or if there's rose and they just don't list it.

That's one of the thing's I appreciate about AntonPan's reviews--he identifies what he smells and doesn't go by notes lists or what's rumored to be in it. It usually ends up being more accurate than whatever's conveyed in the ad copy.

The notes strike me as a spicy-fresh fragrance with a dark dry down and you just smashed my imagination down like nothing. Now I need to try it, but I think I'll have to wait half year for this to come to Thailand.

Agree, that could be artemesia that gives that vibe! Don't know how it smells. In what fragrance it smells prominent?

Better than average, but my skin loves the spicy fragrances, they always perform well. (For example, gourmands like La Nuit de L'Homme fully disappears after an hour).

Cheers. My skin seems to prefer sweet fragrances. I'll try this when I can because I'm intrigued...

Agree, I love that! Great way to keep your mind nimble in terms of note interpretation, and explore note combos that possibly come across like something else entirely.

I did a little reading on artemesia, I think my initial guess was probably incorrect. What I thought was the smell of artemesia, apparently isn't.

Some note exploration threads describe as an intensely bitter/green/astringent note akin to absinthe, and for something reason in my mind it was more of a green herbal floral-ish note. I've never smelled it in pure form. It's possible that a green/antringent note combined with something sweet like tobacco could replicate rose, I guess. But I'm totally just batting thoughts around here.

ANYWAY, now I want to smell even more.
