Question Zara Sprint 9.58 / Zara Gold / Zara Man Gold - Are They 1, 2, or 3 Different Scents?

The low-end / high-currency fashion brand ZARA puts out some surprisingly good stuff, including several scents said to resemble Creed Aventus and/or Paco Rabanne Black XS.

Zara doesn't only change its lineup of fragrances frequently - bringing on new ones and discontinuing old ones without warning - Zara also changes packaging AND (some people believe) formula constantly. A single fragrance can have multiple bottles - possibly even multiple names. Thus, it's not always easy to say which fragrance one is actually dealing with, in Zara World.

Zara has three fragrances which may only be two or even one by our standards. Those fragrances are:

Here's the deal. I would like to know if people think Zara Gold is just a renaming of Sprint 9.58, both being named after Usain Bolt's world record. I'd also like to know if people think Man Gold is just a renaming of Gold or a whole different fragrance. Ultimately, I would like people's opinions on how many fragrances THEY think we should have in the Directory.

Based on very limited personal knowledge completely unaware about the first, but can confirm with almost 100% certainty that number 2 and 3 are different from each other (although admittedly quite similarly smelling)

Excellent! After years of knowing and trusting your nose, Ken, that's all I need to know that I would personally come to the exact same conclusion.

Our friend Bigsly will be back shortly, and he will have something to say about 1 & 2, I'm sure, being one of the few people to deeply study and compare those two fragrances. Thus, solution of this problem is now at hand.

I have the gold cylinder one and it's similar to Aventus, perhaps like with some Black XS but with the raspberry or whatever taken out and pineapple replacing it, With the Aventus batch variations, though, who can say? LOL. I haven't tried the other Zaras you reference but I just bought Rich/Warm/Addictive Tobacco and really like that one, sort of Mahogany by B&BW combined with Tobacco Vanille.

LOL! Maybe Creed stole the idea of Aventus batch variation from Zara name/bottle/frag variation!

Thanks! Yes, I have the gold cylinder, too. I lost the hard cellophane wrapper with the name, that I think said Gold on it, but the 9.58 is machined AND printed on the bottle.

Your description matches my experience, too.

That tobacco scent sounds good - will investigate! Thanks for that tip.

Mine has Zara Gold on the bottle - there's no "9.58" anywhere.

Good. This means mine, which smells the same as Sprint 9.58 that DULLAH described, and what you have, is a transitional form. Missing Link!!!
