Welcome. I think either could work well for you. I like both fragrances but have a preference for GIT. It also lasts a fair bit longer on my skin.

I don't like Millesime Imperial due to personal tastes, but it'd probably work better than Green Irish Tweed since I find the latter to be more 'grown up' and formal.

Anything else to add to the list, Ian? Would be good to know how you dress/present yourself, what your hobbies are etc.!

Have you tried these two fragrances, and which do you prefer? Or is it a dead heat and you're just looking for a tie breaker?

They share similarities especially in their bases, so with that said I would go for GIT as it lasts longer.

“LMFAO!” If your a mature guy either should work just fine just enjoy the fragrances and whichever you choose their pure class. Buy samples or splits then decide easiest way to decide or if you like both splits make it possible.

I would have gone for GIT as well. But MI might suite the climate you're in better (e.g. warm, humid most of the year). GIT to me is more versatile and that's why I own it. As others have said, both have the same sort of dry-down: GIT is more 'green', whereas MI is more acquatic.

+1 This. You should look maybe into more age appropriate fragrances. Although it only choosing from this 2, I will go with Millesime Imperial for a 19 year old. For anyone over 25-30, GIT (my preference).
    My Current Top 10:
    Amouage Reflection Man
    Parfums de Marly Herod
    Dior Homme Intense
    Green Irish Tweed
    Royal Oud
    Creed Aventus
    Roja Elysium
    YSL Tuxedo
    MFK Baccarat Rouge 540
    Roja Enigma Parfum

Would still recommend considering samples (as already mentioned) of GIT, as it is and remains a classy fragrance of great value even in its higher price range and good everyday versatility, with undeniable stylishness as well

Either one would be great for you, so choose your personal favorite after sampling both.

I would have thrown Silver Mountain Water into the mix too.
Move on. It is just a chapter in the past, but don't close the book, just turn the page.
