Default Is this Dior Dune fake?

It seems very strange, looks vintage, but no info on bottom. I asked the seller twice what's the batch no and he erased my message. What do you think?

Could have rubbed off. The bottle itself looks authentic. I suspect it is a grey market bottle

Difficult to say.. I guess it's a risk you have to take. I wouldn't have thought Dune was a commonly counterfeited fragrance, but who knows.. maybe it was back in the old days? Maybe some others could pipe in on that.. Possibly it could be an actual counterfeit that has been stored aside for all these years.. but seems unlikely too. Counterfeiters tend to stick to 100ml bottles also. You rarely see them replicating smaller sizes like 50ml. I guess the larger one makes more money for them.. The seller doesn't seem very helpful. Usually when someone acts like that (not replying, deleting messages) I forget about it and buy off someone else, no matter what they're selling or how cheap it is.

I would guess it's OK. Agree that it's possibly what was mentioned in post #2

I have two 50ml bottles of Dune. The newer bottle looks exactly like this one, has no sticker on the bottom, but does possess a very faint batch code. The older bottle drops the "50 ml Made In France" from the front, but does have a sticker on the bottom. I'm testing them side-by-side, and the bottle you've linked to smells legit.

That being said, I would still listen to MonsieurChanel's advice.

Probably not counterfeit but I wouldn't do business with anyone that deleted my questions? What's the point of that? If they go through the effort of deleting, then it means (to me) that they've read my question and choosing not to answer. Next

Well put. I may still buy from a seller like that in rare occasions, but I need to be really hopeless to find a similar bottle, and the price must be low enough that I would not mind if it turns out to be a total loss.
