I was just wondering how 1.5 was released without a 1.4 ... I should have read down the forum a little further!

Will check it out, for certain, but the point-five seems more my style, tho I do love artemisia.

This arrived this morning along with 1.5 from the US distributor. Looking forward to trying these at some point today.

Thanks, hednic. Looking forward to your thoughts on both of these.

(I recently picked up a 15 ml of the original release and have been wearing it quite a bit — since the "take it with you" aspect of the travel sprayer makes easy to do!)

Both will be my SOTD for tomorrow. Since they are supposed to compliment each other, I will be doing something I have never done. Wear one on the left side of my neck and one on the right side. Could be interesting or a disaster!

Or could give you whiplash as you try to compare scents....

I kinda like 1.0 but overall I find them designer-ish & mainstream. Anyway I look forward to your findings, hednic.

I'm wearing both 1.4 and 1.5 at the same time. 1.4 is the woodier and spicier of the two while 1.5 is more citrusy and floral. 1.5 is definitely lighter and more fleeting and would probably be the less offensive. 1.4 - prominent lavender, tonka and cardamom (at least that's what my nose picks up). As for 1.5 a mish-mash of many different smells. Smells a bit more I don't know, chemical perhaps.

If you feel this way, you must try the 1.3 version in the "fire circle" blue bottle.

It is done by the same fellow as the first, Mssr. Julien Rasquinet, who is a star in my book. It blows my mind like Bleu de Chanel did.

I cannot tell what is in the blend but it just smells incredible. I suspect you'll have upwardly positioned thumbs after a test run.

Have you had an opportunity to try 1.4 and 1.5 yet?

No, sir, not yet. Scent Bar doesn't yet have them in the retail store. If I can make the time I might visit the local Neiman Marcus for a sniff if they begin to stock them.

They've been available Stateside for quite a while now through Histoires de Parfum's US website. They ship out of New Jersey.

Indeed. I've checked their site recently and may order direct online when I get something from them next, but I won't be able to blind buy these new ones like certain people we know <wink>. Hopefully I can get samples if I go that route.

(Wore the original TINABB today and I continue to love it.)

I ordered a sample of it along with the story book sampler from their website. Haven't worn it yet but I love 1725.
