Krizia Moods got away. The seller realized the price was to low.....ended the auction and raised the price 🤣. I should've pounced!

Is the rose really dominant in this?? I'm not a big fan of rose if it's overbearing.

I guess dominant wouldn't be the correct word for me to use but rather - obvious. My two cents stated that he didn't find the rose to playing a starring role. My bottle presents as a dark rose and has is smooth start to finish. But beware that not everyone has found it that way. For perspective - I'm not a huge rose fan and when I'm in a mood for rose I generally reach for either Ungaro 1, Lyric Man, Black Aoud (I do like other rose and oud combos) or Acteur.

Nemo is a dead ringer for a highly sought after ( at least it used to be) discontinued fragrance by Donna Karen that came out in 1995 called DK Men Unleaded. I used to own a bottle of said discontinued fragrance but sold it eventually because it was just too heavy and dark for me.

Be sure you're looking at the Club flanker (gray box/black fluted bottle).

The original Ho Hang commands higher spend, at least at this time in history (I've never sniffed the original, btw).

Pulled the trigger on Cacharel("duck") Pour L'Homme.

The nutmeg sounds very interesting and different. Can't wait to try it.

As elegant as they come. I have a special kind of respect towards this fragrance. And the "duck/cartouche" is the way to go as far as version is involved. Would like to hear your impressions once you get it.

All I can say is WOW!!

Elegant is the perfect one word description. This is a beautiful fragrance. I just tested it on paper. I can't wait to give it a full wearing.

I love the burst of citrus and nutmeg. I get the sweetness in the middle and the woody dry down. This developes nicely! This is a great recommendation folks.

I've been interested in Punjab in the past. Prices are up.

R&G Santal sounds interesting but may be a real challenge to find. Prices are up.

Bourjois Or Masculin sounds very interesting but also a challenge to find.

So far, had very good experiences within this price range thanks to the vintage formulations of the following:

Chevignon Brand for Men, Lancetti Uomo and Lancetti Uomo Concentree, Heritage EDT, most masculine fragrances by Marbert, particularly Homme, Capucci pour Homme, One Man Show, Tabac Original, (tin can) Rive Gauche-while it was still available within this price range, most of the Halston masculines, Brut (including some flankers), Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme, Derrick

Will disagree immensely on Fahrenheit here - new one has extremely weak performance compared to a batch from 2000 or older. Smell-wise there's not TOO much in in ( I heard around 2015 it was quite vanilic, but what's in the shops nowadays has that gasoline type smell) - and the older ones are definitely richer/the newer feels flatter, but the newer batches have abysmal performance

In the UK, 30ml of Balenciaga PH can be picked up for £40, but that is more than £1/ml. Fantastic juice though.
TBh I've not paid more than £70 for things like vintage Fahrenheit, Kouros, Antaeus - just have to get somewhat lucky with people not realising what they have!
