All of them are calming to me - Fleur De Cedrat being the most.

Although a bit off-topic, since the from the same house but not the EDC range however, a few scents within the Aqua Allegoria line can qualify as well.
Particularly Pivoine Magnifica, Pamplelune, Tiare Mimosa, Herba Fresca, to name a few possible options along the required lines.

None of the originals have drydowns, per se, as eaux de colognes were not meant to (anymore than a lingering trace at least). Eau de Guerlina and Cologne du Parfumeur are the only 2 with proper drydowns. I dislike Eau de Guerlain's laundry musks, so I'd go with CdP.

All of them should do since they have soft and not too long lasting drydown. Du coq has some vanilla, if you like the material.

    Thanks to all,
throughout this month I will try as many times as I can the Guerlain Colognes Les Eaux and Aqua Allegoria line.
The Vanilla in Du Coq sounds nice, and Fleur De Cedrat.
I will start with these two
    Eau Du Coq
    Fleurs De Cedrat

Eau du Coq is the one I would most describe as being "soft" due to the more powdery materials used - vanilla, as cacio mentioned.

Luca Turin described Coq as an eau de cologne with a little bit of Jicky. I tend to agree. There is a little presence of vanilla/civet in the short dry down. Very good indeed.

Eau de Coq has a nice twist, but my favourite remains Eau de Cologne Impériale. The Guerlinade is definitely perceptible in the drydown if you splash generously (as you are meant to).
