Every time I smell Carbon I swoon a little, I have to admit.
Nice! I agree. First time I wore it I was trying to make out what was hitting me and if it was relevant to anything I have worn before. I'm not a big Sauvage fan so it wasn't something I was looking for overall, I had just read some things. But yesterday I let it all go and just wore it without thinking too much. I must have sprayed my collar on my pullover because I kept getting incredible wafts even hours later. Not harsh at all. Really smooth. I really enjoyed it...more than Black.

Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue (2016)

This is 90's meets 2010's. Two decades of masculine perfumery mossheads hate (I can totally respect why). However for me personally, this combination of 90's gaudy fruitiness and 2010's corporate deconstruction actually is quite fun. Ambrosia for the anesthetized masses.

Tom Ford Vert des Bois - this one fully clicked in my brain for the first time today. I can't particularly name a separate note and get more of an accord that feels like sitting in the middle of a greenhouse.

Tonite I will be shifting my focus to Castoreum with a Spirit Bear unamed Floral scent that explores the rudeness, elegance and Leathery nuttiness of this Beaver butt. I sense a human scalp mossiness that further butters the base. Fruity Jasmine and blossom sweetens and heightens to offer a breathy succulence as that of a kiss.
Tomorrow will be JSP Burvuvu which gives me an abstract Rose Leather Chypre Castoreum rich and elegantly animalic.

I’m tempted to order a sample of this. Any first thoughts? I read reviews of the original Mx and most expected it to be more animalic. Does the new version deliver?
