    Red face Unlabeled vintage Guerlain

Hi. I picked up an unlabeled 3.4 oz Guelain flacon montre, glass stopper, edt.. I donít recognize the scent. I have LíHeure Bleu, Shalimar, Terracota Voile Díete edt. I am wondering if there is someone out there who could help me figure it out. It smells great, so it doesnít really matter if I know what it is that Iím wearing or not. Iím just curious.

Impossible to say without photos...and even then, ID might be difficult.

Bonnette hi. I know it is probably impossible. I was sort of hoping someone with a nose and experience with Guerlains range of scents might be able to help me.

If you're wanting someone to smell it, I'm up for it. A mystery Guerlain sample sounds like so much fun!

If it's in the 'flacon montre', it's an EdC rather than an EdT.

Can you describe the smell or post some photos? Guerlain used to sell a wide range of their perfumes as EdCs, so it's difficult to be precise. On the other hand, it is probably a perfume that they still sell, so a trip your nearest Guerlain counter might solve the mystery!

Hi. I am sitting here with the unknown scent on my left wrist and my Shalimar EDT on my right. Both vintage. They started out quit similar but the unknown one is a little more mellow and just a hint sweeter at first. Now that it has been a few minutes the Shalimar still smells like Shalimar and the unknown is like a soft vanilla. Don’t know if this helps. I think it may be Shalimar but because it is a Cologne it is a but softer.does that make any sense? Also I don’t know how to post a photo on here.

You are asking for help, but have provided nothing to go by. Pictures would be helpful. Perhaps a description of the scent itself. For all we know, it's yet another Aventus clone. Although you said "it smells great" so hopefully not that.

To me the one that resembles Shalimar, only deeper is 'Vol de Nuit'.

Wow, really? I think Jicky is a far more likely result.

I have vintage Jicky EDC and the vanilla is quite suprisingly dominant in it.
