Default Arabian oud ( the retail Manhattan store , not limited to ),wondering about quality

I recently sampled their pure Cambodian out, and 3 other scents. Grabbed my interest, but it was a perfume shopping day and didn't spend enough time for a proper evaluation. Any thoughts on their oud and fragrances. ?

Have to check that place out next time I go to the Invicta Store over in Times Square. Saw a video a while back and their fragrances looked very interesting.

Arabian Oud has some nice stuff, especially their higher end mukhallats and blends. They do likely have pure oud oil but to get the good stuff from them, you have to spend big bucks and even then, it may or may not be blended oud, meaning 2 or more different varieties, (or even cut with something else). Most of the Gulf retailers are similar and for pure oud oils, you'd be better off going with the trusted Artisinal sellers such as Ensar Oud, Agar Aura, Imperial Oud, Feel Oud, Agarwood Assam, Royal Bengal Ouds, etc.

Otherwise, as mentioned, the blends can be seriously good. I owned Prince Diamini for a while and sadly sold it and I still own a Rose/Oud/Saffron blend that is terrific. Some of their spray perfumes are terrific too, especially the "Woody" series. Truly POTENT stuff!

Definitely worth a visit in NYC if you can, at the very least just for exposure to the fragrances but I'll bet that you'll find lots of stuff that you like!

I went last year and enjoyed the store. They have a few oud oils, but as others were pointing out, expensive. I own a Syoufi that's quite nice, woody and a touch dirty. I also have their musk kaaba, spicy and dark. I have not explored their alcohol perfumes.

The following are really nice fragrances:

    Woody
    Woody Intense
    Arabian Legend (silver)
    Arabian Knight
    Kalemat
    Sehr el Kalemat
    Silver Tartiel
    Solid Black

If you are looking for good oud oils, get them from the distillers:

    Feel Oud
    Imperial Oud
    Ensar Oud
    Veni, Vidi, Ego Emit.
    ( I came, I saw, I purchased. )

Been to the store in the past. Very classy store. Can't tell you which ones I tried as they all had names I seem not to be able to recall.

Some of their fragrances are really good, I have started collecting niche Oud and other Oud floral mix high end fragrances, I have not bought anything but I was tempted to buy.

I was at the Arabian Oud store in Times Square a couple of weeks ago. I tried 2 of their high end Cambodi oils which were clearly not pure and did not smell that great. They also had Cambodi wood chips for $18/gr and Hindi chips for $28/gr which were clearly adulterated. I can get real wild sinking grade wood for that price from real vendors.
Very disappointed in Arabian Oud but then I knew what to expect as I saw the same thing at Arabian Oud stores in Madinah last year. They are all over the place there! I wish they would be honest rather than claiming everything is 100% pure.
