    Default nail art

I'm thinking I want to get into some nail art with the gel polishes. It would be a completely new hobby for me as I've always just clipped my nails quite short. Do any of you do this type of thing yourself? Or have it done somewhere?

Ha Ha--I'm getting the message that sums it up for the basenotes crowd! I've got a bunch of stuff ordered and a plan. My niece is into it, so I won't be adrift. We'll drag my sister into it, I'm sure. Heh, I can practice on her.

I have quite dehydrated fingernails so actually only wear polish on my toenails, I am a hand cream freak.

It's not something I pay much attention to but a friend going to Disney got it done on her toenails Mickey Mouse design. It did look fantastic.

My niece works with small children and the kids like it. I have no such excuse. I just think it'd be fun.

It is a very different look for me, too. It can be fun.

You should try Reddit. There's a pretty active forum: https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas

    Looks good, Shy!

I have have a lot of nail looks saved to my Pinterest, but I don’t get too crazy. Actually, the girl who did my nails didn’t get too fancy. Polka dots were about as creative as she ever got.

I just this second came from reading some on the Reddit site. People on there have 300, 500 polishes with discussions on how to store them. After all the stuff I've done in my life (particularly with sock yarn, fragrance, and daylilies) I can still look at those numbers and feel "Don't you think that's a little overboard?"
