Hey, I love those long stem LSA Martini glasses - I'm going to order a dozen for general use. Don't care for their short stem ones, but the long stem look great!

Freezer shelves are typically adjustable - if I can make room for huge 6L bottles of Hendrick's in mine, I'm sure you can manage a few tall martini glasses one way or another.

Glad you like the LSA. Sadly, my fridge-freezer isn't american style and full to the brim, so I'm lucky if I can fit a single glass or two in!

(Man to bartender): " I'll have a gin Martinus please."
(Bartender): "Do you mean Martini sir?"
(Man): "When I want to order more than one at a time I will say so."

In honor of this, here is my very first review (Dunhill EDITION) on Basenotes which happened to include a recipe for a cocktail!

When this was launched in 1984, Dunhill had the launch party at the Ritz in London. They approached Bob, the celebrated mixologist at the Ritz bar, to create a cocktail that tasted the way this cologne smells--and thus the Dunhill cocktail was born. For a few years it was listed on the bar menu at the Ritz and you can still order it, which is guaranteed to bring Bob out to see who the "in the know" drinker is. Edition is a personal favorite of mine, the scent I chose to wear on my wedding day. Bob shared the recipe me me and here it is--splash on some Edition, mix up one of these and enjoy!

    THE RITZ DUNHILL

    5/10 dry white wine
    1/10 Cointreau
    2/10 creme de banana
    2/10 Cinzano Bianco

Combine all ingredients and shake, serve on the rocks.

    Repeat as needed.

My contribution came in as a wonky number due to the currency conversion but it started out as a nice, whole figure! Keep up the good work!

Wow, I bought a bottle of Creme de Banana and struggle to think what to do with it. Looks like I'm buying some dry white wine tomorrow! I don't have the Cinzano but I can substitute that with Martini or a Sherry I think.

Yes, dry Martini works well and makes for a drier cocktail. Enjoy!

Happy to support this. It would be useful to have a Wikipedia style "if every active user contributed x we'd be done" line. This would help me understand the scale of the issue.
I'll also throw out there that I'd support a makeover of the front end too in terms of responsive mobile support.

Thank you thank you thank you to all of you who have contributed. I am so appreciative!

I've martini'd up everyone who wants one, but some of the contributions haven't had a username attached to them, and the email address don't match anyone on file, so if you haven't had a martini and you think you should have, please let me know
