Shycat, your spinning wheel is so beautiful! You did amazing work on the restoration; that's really impressive. And I think being able to spin anything at all on it is wonderful; it's a nearly-lost art. Good for you, and thanks so much for sharing with us!

Trilby Lark, I hope your cold is gone soon! Take good care!

Congrats, Jon! So nice to read you've fulfilled a longtime lemming! And doesn't that packaging take you back?! Very cool, enjoy!

I'm in Shalimar Parfum Initial L'Eau today. Just finished planting my cutting bed, which includes sunflowers, cosmos and zinnias. I just grow these in straight rows as they're mostly for bouquets. It's also the garden that gets the most attention and compliments from neighbors, in spite of my having worked much harder on all the other beds. These flowers just seem to make people happy! Now, I just have to keep fingers crossed that birds won't find my seeds before they can sprout.

Shycat, l am so impressed by your restoration skills & your ability to spin! Have you read The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley? (lf not, l highly recommend it!) The main character, Morgan, describes how spinning sends her off into a trance, when she is prone to seeing visions. Your post reminded me of that.

    Ryan, hugs to your buddy!

Jon, congrats on your latest treasure!

I was so busy and I didn't post yesterday, when I wore some Siberian Musk by Areej le Dore (just a tiny dab) and later on some Extract of Mysore Sandalwood by Crabtree & Evelyn (vintage). Today was another crazy busy day...I wore the last of my Oud Picante by Areej le Dore sample and tonight I am wearing:
