Default Which one would you recommend for summer?

    Hi guys !
I need your help for choosing a perfume for summer daytime but which also works well in the night-time.
I want to mention that I'm 20 years old and currently I own AHS ,AHSEE and La Nuit, which I bought based on your advices mostly.I am thankful for that
    My options are:

    Dior Sauvage
    Invictus Aqua
    Versace Dylan Blue
Versace Eros (I love this one,but i am not sure if it's suited for daytime also)
    Acqua di Gio Profumo

    Any recommendation would be appreciated!

I'd say the one that would make a better nightime perfume is Acqua di Gio profumo, since it is a bit more complex than the others.

I haven't tried Invictus Aqua, but Acqua di Gio Profumo is infinitely better than the other three. I agree with cacio that it would make a very good summer night time perfume. You can, of course, wear it at day as well, but I prefer something along the lines of Eau Sauvage EdT, Chanel pour Monsieur EdT or Bvlgari pour Homme Extreme.

    +1 all around.

Just please stay far, far away from Dylan Blue. It's a particularly shrieky take on an already shrill and chemical genre. If you like that style - and I never thought I'd say this - Sauvage is way better.

All the fragrances on your list would work. Just make sure and try them yourself, and pick the one(s) you like best and smell the best on you. I think these are all still available in department stores for testing/sampling.

Sauvage EdT is a good option, though I find Prada's Luna Rossa Carbon a bit more well rounded, and I prefer it over Sauvage.

Acqua di Gio Profumo even looks good when compared with those. Doesn't smell that good. I find Invictus Aqua to be the worst of the four. To me it's slightly more disgusting than the regular Invictus.

For me, Acqua di Gio Profumo by far, I find the others too synthetic by various degrees, particularly Sauvage which smells like someone blew up a solvent bomb in a chemical factory. Although AdG isn't the most natural-smelling either. That said, I do think AdGP is wearable during the day, although might be a bit bigger than what I personally like once whether gets over (say) 90. Sicilian Mandaran and Dior Homme Cologne, and similar type fragrances, are what I choose then

Dior Sauvage is my pick, but Invictus Aqua (2016) is a close second.

Honestly, that is the best possible advice on a fragrance forum - and I'll add an important second part to it: make sure you give a fragrance at least 4 to 6 hours on skin before you decide if you like how it smells. Just because a scent smells great at the opening blast doesn't mean it'll smell great once those top notes fade.

I have to vote Sauvage. It's just too outstanding, especially for a 20 year old. (Or a 33 year old) Profumo is actually a much better scent, but that heavy insense just screams late evenings and deep nights. I havnt worn it in months, I'm just waiting for deep summer night shifts to wear it. Just can't do it in the day. Invictus Aqua and Eros can disappear from the face of the earth forever. Just my opinion don't kill me through the internet.....

AdG Profumo is the only one that is not horrible, so that would easily be my pick.

Sauvage is on another level of awful however. But I'm sure it smells lovely on all of the people who like it though.

Great list IMHO! Own and love the first 2. Great summer scents.

    Hi guys!
Thank you all for your reply.I really appreciate!
I went to Sephora today and smelled again all of the fragrances I mentioned.
Sadly,Invictus Aqua is out of my list, but i fell in love with Bleu de Chanel EDP.
What are your thoughts about this? How well does it perform?

I like Sauvage, Invictus Aqua, and AdG Profumo, but if you wear them you're going to smell exactly like everybody else. I'd +1 Dior Homme Cologne, I wore that yesterday and got a few compliments in my office. Somehow it lasts over 10 hours in the heat (unless you're anosmic to musk)

IMO Bleu de Chanel is too heavy for the summertime, but perfect for every other season

My first suggestion is if you love it, that's all that matters.

Bleu de Chanel EDP is a great and versatile staple in my eyes. I get solid, day-long performance though it's not a projection monster, which in my eyes is fully acceptable (I don't want to cause anyone's eyes to water).

    Agreed.

Only with a slight caveat that Profumo is a better nighttime fragrance than day, even with the aquatic note. AdG dna.

Invictus Aqua - I tested the 2018 version recently, it's suprisingly good. The others I find boring.

I like it quite a bit, and performance is quite good to my nose. Different people have different tolerances to some fragrances so you would have to determine for yourself how long you can smell it for. But lasts all day for me.

I haven't tried the newest parfum version of BDC however, only the EDT and EDP. I would suggest you try the newest one first before pulling the trigger on the EDP (in case you wind up liking that even more).
