There is a recognizable "Sycomore" vibe in the EdP with this unique accord of cypress and vetiver. Indeed the smoke and the burnings woods make the EdT so special, but the beautiful violet and the balsamic notes in the EdP really worth giving it a try. I personnaly enjoy both very much.

EDP is a very nice fragrance, but EDT is exceptional. The vetiver is smokier, and there is a sort of pop at the top that just doesn't dazzle in the EDP, which is kind of muted in comparison. I purchased 30ml from our splitter extraordinaire, Strifeknot, when he scored a bottle, but I think I need more!

This is an interesting topic for me.. I recently started wearing Sycomore EDP and absolutely love it. It goes great for the cooler days and a nice sweater. I have never tried the EDT but would love to try and compare them.

I also own Coromandel EDT, which is amazing as well, and I do see the sparkle that people have commented about. I was able to compare Coromandel EDT and EDP at the same time, they are a different, but not in negative ways. Some people may prefer one way, and other people may prefer the alternate. But I definitely see the sparkle in the EDT version

I will always prefer the original release and formulation whenever possible. The EDTs bottles were what drew to me the Les Exclusifs including Sycomore in the first place.
