Default Musks used in Creed Himalaya

    Hi all,

I absolutely love the musky drydown in Creed Himalaya, and would love to see if anyone here knows which musks (or other notes in the drydown) are used. I do not want to recreate Himalaya - just locate as many specific materials used in the drydown so i can start working with them to create some fragrance formulas of my own with them in there.

    Thanks,

    Barry

"just locate as many specific materials used in the dry down."

I`m just a total noob... But, from what I understand about perfumery (which is very little)
I doubt anyone except for people working at Creed can give you an honest answer to your question.
It`s a difficult question. At least in my opinion.

High end, large scale houses like Creed likely have complex accords (constructed using captives) and made for them by professional services like IFF.
Even professional, well trained perfumers with access of analysis reports would still have a very hard time knowing which base materials Creed uses in Himalaya.

If you can bare rough guesses...
There are plenty of much MUCH better perfumers, with way more experienced than myself here in base notes.
They might be able to help out? Not sure. Again, I think your likely asking a very difficult question :-(
