Default posting frags from UK to Australia

Dear BNers, I have a quick question :
Is it possible to post bottled, NIB, cellophaned frags from the UK to Australia as gifts from one individual to another ?
From my search, it looks as though perfumes are not on any prohibited list, but can anyone confirm ?
Has anyone here done this ?

lf you check the Royal Mail regulations, it is forbidden to send perfume overseas from the UK. Packages are scanned, & there have been many reported cases here of perfumes being confiscated and/or destroyed. l think the only way to do it is to use a very pricey courier service.

You can send perfume within the UK, but the package must be labelled with a HazMat sticker, consist of no more than four containers totalling no more than 150mls, & be very securely packaged.

    What Teardrop said.

It's all there on Royal Mail's website.

If you wish to gift a fragrance you'd probably be better off ordering online and having them handle the logistics for whilst there are ways and means of doing so (both legit and not so) it ranges from uber expensive for the first column and potentially risky for the second.

Yep, if these fragrances are gifts, it'd be better to order the fragrances from an Australian website and use the Australian address for delivery. I did that once for a friend in the US.

    Problem solved.

May I ask which website you used ?
Anyone have any other recommendations for reputable Aussie perfume websites ?
