    Azzaro Eau Belle EdT I find this a lovely skin scent from 1995 with notes of mandarin orange, yuzu, peach and bergamot, freesia; cypress, & cedar.

    Wishing everyone cooling breezes and libations!

    @thediamonsea, I haven't been keeping up here lately, just want to wish you healing and comfort for whatever is going on.
    @thekelleybelle, welcome, new-ish member!

    To all, Happy Bastille Day! I will go with my Paris scent memory from three years ago, ELdO Rien, know to me as "a whole lotta nothing"—it is one lavish and peculiar fragrance, definitely in jolie-laide territory.

    Here's a video of what woke me up that Bastille Day three years ago, a flyby to start the morning. I barely caught the tricolor.

    jujy54, thank you! I'm having a great time here with this group of Basenoters!

    SOTE: Infusion d'Iris. I have 10 mls of this in a dabber, and I tentatively like it. I should probably decant into an atomizer so I can use it more liberally before forming a final opinion. Right now, just after applying, I'm getting a lovely iris kept dry with woods and something aromatic (the galbanum, perhaps?), but it's not projecting much, probably due to the dabbing.

    The hubby (jerbear, should he ever make an appearance on the forums--maybe I can apply peer pressure!), is wearing Iris Cèdre and finds it soapy to the point that he gets a bad taste in his mouth when he sniffs it. I can see where he's coming from, but I'm not put off by it. Maybe another gender swap is in order? He's claimed my Eau de Rochas sample and my bottle of Versace Versense while I commandeered his Terre d'Hermès Parfum sample and his bottle of BN's Cypress Cedar. Vive la différence!

    I shall be needing a sample of the Absolue (she says as the original has barely dried on her wrist).

    Went to my partners company picnic and roasted in the hot sun. It was fun though & the Yatagan simmered in the heat and smelled pretty awesome.

    Tonight I am going dancing (DJ Sasha, from the UK, is in town). I am excited - it's been probably 10 years or more since I've heard him.

    I will wear something loud & radiant that cuts through the cigarette smoke & smoke machine smells...most likely Black Aoud by Montale. Or maybe Poison (Esprit de Parfum) by Christian Dior.
