Default To buy or not buy?

I recently bought a pair of Adidas sneakers (Samba, black). I not only like their looks, but they are also quite comfortable and fit me well. I just saw these at a shop and love how they look. I tried them, quite comfortable as well. The dress code at my new job is relaxed (one can wear jeans/sneakers), so I wouldn't end up with too many pairs of sneakers (I have two pairs currently). I particularly like the colour: somewhat unique (at least to me), but nothing outlandish. Now, on to the reason why I'm starting this thread: what's making me have second thoughts is that how they would actually look as part of an outfit. I'm thinking jeans (I usually wear darker shades). I don't think the colour is too off-beat so that it can't be easily matched to outfits. Or is it?

To buy or not to buy?

    Many thanks!

Those are really attractive shoes. I like the color and texture. They'd look great with darker blue jeans or grey pants. I say buy 'em!

They're very nice looking and fine for relaxed dress IMO. Buy.

They look green to me. And whenever I see green, I think grey or brown to match it. Perhaps in chinos, but grey jeans would be good.

Agree, brown would look great with those.

Great looking shoes. They'll go with a lot of colors, you'll see.

They rock. Suede is very cool. I think Funwithfrags is right though, from the picture they appear dark green. Could just be an illusion. I have a pair of dark green "sneakers" from M. Gemi. They are a bit harder to match than black shoes, but I quite like them because they're different. I think they go well with dark jeans.

    General rule:

Whenever you buy a new piece check to see how many fits you can style it with, if it doesn't hit at least 50% leave em on the shelf because you'll buy and won't wear.

    Thanks a lot, everyone!

I bought a pair, together with a small bottle of Rose Jam shower gel.

The color is in trend right now, however the velvet is not the best choice for rainy days. So it depends if you take care of them and the weather in your country
