Hey the fragrance doesn't have to be tobacco or cognac scent to match.
On the contrary, it shouldn't have these notes to give in a way opposite smell to smoke and booze.

I'd suggest stronger woods and leathers and maybe spices, like
    Gucci Guilty Absolute
    Nasomatto Duro
    Villoresi Spezie
    Comme des Garcons EDP
    Dior Homme Parfum
    Knize Ten
    Serge Lutens Cuir Mauresque
    CdG Wonderwood
    ...to name a few.

Wearing some of these I used to frequent my local cigar club for some 10-15years until quitting these lovely toxines))
    Hope this helps

I agree that scents already heavy with tabacco and booze can be too much--scents that lack those notes can get filled in and rounded when worn while drinking and smoking. I once enjoyed a cigar and a single malt with a friend who had just put on a fairly heavy dose of Eau Sauvage. The result was awesome.

Im with him, Id avoid doubling up on the booze/tobacco and wear something with some spice, leather and/or incense to compliment.

Surely this. Cigar and cognac's strength is in their smells, they just blend so well together. So a fragrance should complement these and not overpowering them. Generally I think fragrances containing notes that go well with tobacco and rum are probably good to go (for example, look at the notes of some tobacco and rum-based fragrances and extract the tobacco and rum to see the remaining notes). I tend to like subtle, green or fresh scents depending on how I want to enjoy the combo at that moment.

P/s: My local Mecca don't have Jazz Club (not contradicting to the points above, I just want to test this smell) and other niches so I can't really comment about them, sadly. Will probably test them on the next trip to Melbourne.

Should 'rum' note be good in this situation? I'm considering Jazz Club by Maison Margiela, Bentley Intense or something like that, maybe even Creed Virgin Island Water.
What are your opinions on this? Please let me know. Thanks.
The problem with Jazz Club is that...Well....It just isn't very Jazz Club. It's nice and all but doesn't really live up to its name!!

This is great thinking right here. I'll second this idea.
