I just think they could have found a "hot guy" with an actual moustache on his face...not a full beard. No?

I agree with Anton here, the model looks like a greasy hipster , the fragrance is dandy and metrosexual

Just got a bottle of this in yesterday for $35. It’s definitely worth it at that price. It smells very, very similar to YSL Tuxedo and the average person could never tell the difference between the two. It’s a little less dark than Tuxedo (less patchouli) and has more vanilla but that’s only apparent on very close scrutiny. Overall, the notes aren’t as rich or defined as Tuxedo and there’s a slight plastic quality that comes through at times but again, these differences are very minor, almost negligible, and hard to notice unless you’re wearing both and sniffing them each very closely and carefully and looking for differences. Otherwise, they’re the same scent. While I prefer Tuxedo, if I had neither one I’d buy Moustache since it’s about 6 times less the price and creates the same effect and still is a nice, quality scent.

Just to clarify, BB -- this is the EdP version you're talking about?

I'm really curious to hear about the version marked "EDT 1949".

    Yes, Ma'am.

I was tempted to pick up the EDT 1949, which was also in stock for the same price, but I have a pretty good feeling it's not my style and I wouldn't like it.

I bought it based on your comments and it is exactly what you said. Nice quality scent for cheap.
Reminds me of the Arabian Oud,rasasi guys doing western style fragrances.
    Cardamom, Iris, rose, norlimbanol,musk.
    Nicely blended and work safe.

ScentMonkey deal sold out on eBay. Didn't pull the trigger, but we should see more deals in the future as its distribution broadens.

Got mine today, it's ok. Not blown away by any means, kind of boring honestly. Smells very synthetic. I'm getting some patchouli and myrrh (kind of giving a tobacco accord) in the dry down that smells better than the rather loud and brash opening. It's not unique at all, it reminds me of Mont Blanc Legend Night and Halloween Shot. Likewise, it kind of just smells like a poor take on Escada Magnetism.

I have never smelled Tuxedo, but if it smells like this, then it's nothing like I was expecting. I don't associate this with a tuxedo kind of fragrance, formal.. not in the least. More of an out clubbing "look at me" attention grabbing sort of frag. Might wear it tomorrow, depend on the weather. I'd say it's a 2 spray frag, it's pretty strong.

NOW I remember what this smells like, it smells nearly identical to Lomani Intense Black, which is supposed to be a copy of Royal Oud. I've never smelled Creed Royal Oud, so I can't make that connection, but it does smell VERY similar to Intense Black, I mean almost identical from what I remember. Though I haven't experienced the full dry down of this yet, its only been on skin about an hour. The dry down seems to be better than the Lomani. It's going more toward a soft almost powdery vanilla, kinda like how tonka dries down.

Another one it reminds me of is Red Tobacco by Mancera.
