    Default vintage joop strange bottle?

hya frag freaks i picked up a bottle of vintage joop homme off ebay-smells amazing!
its a 100ml bottle unfortunatly not in its original box(the box is old but says 125ml)
the strange thing is the actual glass itself is purple/red
    i cant find anything online
ive searched for images of the 1989 bottles....nothing
i cant find a single reference to a vintage joop homme with this dark tinted glass
the 4 digit number on the base of the bottle is 2200
would be nice to find out if this is an original original
ive posted 2 photos any info would be great
    cheers jarrod

I've never seen a bottle with HOMME written above JOOP, never mind one that was coloured.
I'd hazard a guess that it's a rare vintage, but no idea just how old.
Can you post a close up of all the writing on the bottle ?
Edit : I see that Homme at the top was standard for vintage bottles but don't know when the changeover occurred.

Sorry I meant what is written on the base.
I can't read anything below the "100ml" apart from the word "London" (though I doubt it will help)

i feel its a fake as on the bottom it has p.a.o symbol on it which makes it after 2005 i think, also i don't know if its the way you took pic but bottle looks too dark and the print looks the wrong colour and poorly printed.joop came in 75ml and 125ml not 100ml as far as i know..
found these on web as it should look:

i found a pic of bottom aftershave joop yours should of looked like this and say lancaster not p&g

    Maybe you're right.
i don't understand why anyone would counterfeit a fragrance but then make the bottle a completely different colour and in a size that didn't exist ( though I know it happens - I have a fake Chanel Allure Homme in 25ml travel size which never existed.)

Add a box size that had a different bottle size inside..

i found a pic of fake 100ml online, imagine if it really did come in eau de parfum

    Clearly fake.

Joop Homme was never produced in 100ml, also the writing looks off, too green, and bad quality of the text.

They made the same mistake with e.g. AdG Profumo, selling them in fake 100ml boxes/bottles while the real one (of Profumo) does not exist in 100ml format.

Regarding the pic in first post, the 'HOMME' (the 2nd 'M' is wrong as well as the 'E') lettering is wrong compared to the real deal and not to speak about the flower symbol (middle part) which is wrongly imitated as well.

    Real deal:

    Correct.
Sorry OP your bottle is 100% Fake

    Joop Homme never existed in 100ml, only 30 75 125 and 200ml.

Also the flower logo on your bottle looks different than the real one, compare the side and the bottom parts

    How much did you pay?
Your bottle is most likely from a fake market in turkey or asia.
Somebody filled some new joop homme juice inside wich cost not more than 15-20$, and sold it as a vintage for 100+
