Default longevity of materials changed in combination

    hi basenoters,
i made up a mixture of 5% civettal, 45% linalool and 50 % diethyl succinate. i dipped a blotter today (in the concentrate) and it was gone within approx 2,5 hours.

    normally, my notes list longevity:

    civettal approx 48 hours
    linalool approx 16 hours
    diethyl succinate approx 60 hours

did you ever experience something similar?
seems quite strange, but fascinating too

looking fwd to hear your experiences!

Linalool and diethyl succinate are not long lasters...
And the Civettal (aka para hydro tetramethyl quinoline) is not there in enough qty to be a fixative for them...

thanks for you response pk. do you mean, increasing the amount of civettal makes the linalool and diethyl succinate last as long as they do alone?

i'm still wondering why this mix does significantly last shorter than all the materials alone. (btw: the mentioned lasting time of the materials is my personal experience. all were done 100%, except civettal 10% in TEC)
