My Bohemian cabinet-maker gymnast grandfather immigrated to the US at the turn of the century (the 1900s).
I'll honor him by syncing but not sure what I'll wear.
With Bohemian glass being of note, I suppose I could just put anything in a crystal atomizer and spritz.
I do like the idea of something evoking old cathedrals. Already used Timbuktu for Halloween as it is dusty/incense-y like that.
Suggestions? Nothing from my wardrobe is screaming at me.

    Great suggestions for Prague, all!

Since I have Memoir Woman and haven't worn it in awhile, I believe I will be a (possible) scent twin to ineespenes.

Maybe you can wear Tea Rose for the national flower of Czechia, for example?

I'll be going with Black Perfecto - Cherry, Rose, Leather.

I'm wearing Lavs by Unum today inspired by the fantasy trilogy (Daughter of Smoke and Bone) I read earlier in the year which is set largely in Prague. Also follows an incense theme!

(as an aside from reading the reviews on here, I'd swear my sample of Lavs was mislabelled - unwearable? basements/cellars? corpses? what? I also don't get ANY cardamom, coriander or jasmine. There's a weird minerality/aquaticness that I think are what other people label as the "old tire/rubber/gunpowder". It is pretty unusual, sure, but not nearly as scary as I think others report and yes, I'm wearing it at work with no negative repercussions. I like that it's not sweet or resinous on the base - a very different take on an incense theme. Not sure I need a whole bottle, but super glad to have a set of samples on hand.)
    My current rotation:
Vetivers: Root of all Goodness by Parterre & Autumn 19 by Ffern
Skin scents: Shermine by Pierre Guillaume & Goddess by Lush
Work horses: Magnetica by Voronoi, Paithaini by Penhaligons & 154 by Jo Malone

I haven't synced in a while...life has been super busy and hectic, and today I thought I'd try and catch up! I like the idea of rose for Prague. I also missed the peppercorn sync, so as a result, I'm going to try and double sync with Dior Ambre Nuit. I absolutely love this fragrance, especially in the autumn. Unfortunately it's still in the upper 80s here, so it doesn't quite feel so autumnal.

Those notes in Black Perfecto sound very lush.

These city syncs are getting to be too hard. Sorry, but I've never heard of Phillip Island (next month's locale), I don't have anything in my wardrobe to do with penguins and can only hope I've got something a Hemsworth brother modeled for.

I think I'll be skipping city syncs next year. Unless one of them is Riga, Latvia. Then I'm all set. I've got Rīdzinieces noslēpums by Dzintars - Secret of Riga!

Synching with the Bohemian theme by wearing April Aromatics Bohemian Spice. A spicy patchouli that is prohibitively (for me) priced. So I'll enjoy my sample.

I have to agree. Maybe the geographics should be zoomed out to include an entire country. A little less specificity might broaden the viewpoint.

I'm a little bit early, because next week is going to be EXCITING - Panned by The Guide!
Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez wrote 2 Perfume Guides - one many years ago, and one last year.
Here are 1-star and 2-star rated perfumes from the 1st guide:
    https://scentertainer.net/en/top-lis...ar-luca-turin/
    https://scentertainer.net/en/top-lis...rs-luca-turin/
And here are 1-star and 2-star rated perfumes from the 2nd guide:
    https://scentertainer.net/en/new-top...ca-turin-2018/
    https://scentertainer.net/en/new-top...ca-turin-2018/

Let's say my tastes really don't align with the tastes of Turin and Sanchez - so many scents I enjoy are mentioned here! There's even Dior Fahrenheit and Addict in this list - both absolutely great perfumes to my nose! There are some Basenotes darlings like Virgin Island Water, Burberry London, Tabac Blond, Mon Guerlain or Tuscan Leather, too - can you find your favourite? There are some of my favourites, some of my haves, so many of my wants and quite a lot of my likes that I don't need to have, but would be happy if given in this list. (of course, there are instances where I absolutely agree - but let's not talk about them today.)
    So many options!

So this Friday I can wear:
Le Baiser du Dragon – Cartier : failed oriental
Black Opium – Yves Saint Laurent : fruity floral
Lait et Chocolat – Chabaud : flavored coffee [they panned the WHOLE Chabaud line - I loved everything I smelled from this house ]
Gabrielle – Chanel : sour floral

I don't even have many scents by Basenotes standards, and I can already form a small wardrobe just from panned by The Guide scents! Well, I accept I have a trashy taste - but at least it's mine.
I'll probably go with Black Opium as I already thought about wearing it some time this week, but I'll see which one calls me first on Friday.
What will YOU wear? What are your options?

    Haha, this is so funny!
I can also see my collection of "Panned by The Guide" expanding in the future though.

As for Black Opium, I guess they either hated it because they expected something more similar to original Opium and not a sweet and slightly synthetic modern gourmand for younger crowd, or they got mad to get a sweet people pleaser under the name of mighty Opium, or because they hate the trend/genre itself. Or all of this at once.

This is a such great sync topic. Focusing on just the 1-star options and eliminating ratings based on the estimation of the poor reformulation, such as Vent Vert, I have a few choices, mostly heavy florals,

I have to go with vintage Amarige, which is a beautiful perfume. Here's the Turin & Sanchez review, which takes anti-tuberose hysteria a little too far, I think.

We nearly gave it four stars: the soapy-green tobacco-tuberose accord Dominique Ropion designed for Amarige is unmissable, unmistakeable, and unforgettable. However, it is also truly loathsome, perceptible even at parts-per-billion levels, and at all times incompatible with others’ enjoyment of food, music, sex, and travel. If you are reading this because it is your darling fragrance, please wear it at home exclusively, and tape the windows shut.

Hahaha, grayspoole, that's a funny review!
I only have read the ones that are available online and the intro to the 2018 issue that was available on Amazon - and they all were such an entertaining read! I am really looking forward to getting the books - when I decide if I should go for cheaper ebooks or paper editions, as I feel it's more rewarding read in a non-linear fashion which is more convenient physically.
