Default Adding Old Spice fragrance oil to make it stronger?

    Hi!!

Is it possible to add Old Spice type fragrance oil to an already full bottle of Old Spice to make it stronger? I'd like to wear OS but it's just got poor sillage and longevity.

    Old spice smells awful.

You should really expand your horizons and try some other fragrances (not just the typical cheap athletic ones sold in supermarkets).

A bit harsh, don’t ya think?

To the OP, I’d say give it a shot, you have nothing to lose.
I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.

Old Spice is a great fragrance .
What I would do is just buy vintage on ebay. Old Spice or Early American Old Spice. SHould cost about the same as Current Old Spice+ whatever oil you are going to use.

Except for the high dosage of Vanillin, the other three main components of Original Old Spice, Isoeugenol, Eugenol, and Musk Ketone have been highly curtailed or nearly eliminated in usage.
This has crippled the current version sold, vs the historical formula.

I have certainly expanded my horizons and I always want to end up with Old Spice. Love the smell. It's just not strong enough. I dont really want to rely on ebay for Old Spice when I can just drive 5 mins down the street to Walgreens and buy it. I just want to make the scent stronger.

Well that's kind of the thing...you can no longer get the vintage, stronger formulation of Old Spice due to changes in the use of what are considered potentially allergenic materials. Adding anything to a current version of it is not going to make it stronger. Just different. Now, if you were willing to sign a waiver and pony up for a personal consult then I'm sure a you could get a perfumer to make you something quite close to the original.
