Default SOTD: Tuesday, 4th December, 2018

Today I seem to be sharing a sweet, soft vanilla and shimmer vibe with N.Cal(!): Christiano Fissore Cashmere.

Wishing a Terrific Tuesday to all!

    Hello all,

I’m wearing Jo Malone Orris & Sandalwood. Along with Gold Woman and Chanel No. 22, it’s my other glamour perfume.

More wall painting today. I discovered it’s a real calorie burner. My welcome weight loss continues!

    Have a good day.

l do some of my shopping online of course, but l do like to get into town at least once over the holiday season. The Christmas market, the lights & the atmosphere were all most enjoyable today. Plus my hair stylist is one of my oldest friends, so it's always fun to catch up while she's snipping away. l had a really great day, plus l treated myself to a gift set of Alien with my Boots points, comprising perfume, body cream & a candle. lt'll be great to have this one back in my wardrobe!

Topping up the sandalwood with Santal Blush this evening.

I've been missing in action for a few days, my chorus has a two day retreat to prep for our holiday concerts, and I was too tired afterwards to post. Plus, no scent allowed while we are all crammed together on risers. Sadly, the proximity to someone contagious has given me a cold, so I am sneezing and dripping. Otherwise, I feel fine! I needed a scent that would cut through the crud in my sinuses, so this morning I'm wearing Carolina Herrera. Astronauts can probably smell me in space.

Oh, and count me in as part of the hermit contingent. Introverts rule!

Yes, so true. Like Shycat in Kai and Mike in Shalimar.

I know Larimar's retreat is heaven, but I want to join that Santa on the beach right now. Last winter I had access to our daughter's condo pool and became addicted. Had the thing all to myself 9 out of 10 times. Oh, and then the hot tub, too. DD has since sublet her place to take a job for the post office in Madison. Man, I miss that big, warm pool during these forever-gray days.

I liked yesterday's Bel Ami + Tuscan Leather enough to repeat them today.

I wore Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree to start the day. I've recently switched to Dior Homme.

I enjoy it very much, but some would argue that it is not a great performer, nor very long lasting. Boozy, spicy woods basically, and the first several hours are the best part.

I also enjoy today's thread a lot ...and people's choices ( particularly Jon and Larimar ) For the evening I'm testing an Amouage I've been postponing to try, because I excepted not to like it. The scent is Beach hut woman .....And so far (about ten minutes in ) I actually kind of like it. Not particularly stereotype feminine, beachy. It does remind me a littlebit of Elixir de Merveilles so far, but this might change later... It doesn't really matches all the snow pouring down outside, though :/ Have a great evening all

Edit : it has now dried down a bit more. I find it ok, but nothing grand.
