Thumbs up Experience at Mugler Source fountain?

I've never had a bottle refilled from the Mugler counter - does anyone know how it works? How much they charge? What bottles can be filled (vintage?)

Never had it done but know people who have.

Depends on the size of the refill so sorry cannot answer the amount you pay but it is cheaper than buying a new bottle.

No, it will not be vintage.

As for bottles they can refill it must say on the box when you buy refillable, not all sizes are, I know with Angel it is only certain sizes were the top can be unscrewed they refill. It always will say on the box this is refillable.

I have had various Angel bottles refilled, even including the “cross” or “dagger” bottle. Don’t recall prices but it’s obviously less than a new bottle.

They have some weird chain or ring on which are strung numerous tags, each one indicating the price of a specific product and size and its refill price. It’s kind of like the way jailers carried their keys in movies set in Medieval times— —but it works and they find your bottle type and tell you the price. Just like with new bottles, price per ml goes down when quantity goes up.

I have had one of the Exceptions line fragrances refilled, they unscrewed the top and refilled it from the fountain, price was maybe 25% less than a new bottle? Don’t really recall.

Sorry - I didn't mean to imply if they would fill with vintage juice - I meant will they refill vintage non-standard bottles with new juice.

I learned on the weekend that the have different prices, but the lowest they will go will be 25ml at $40CAD. The other sizes I believe were 50 and 100ml.

I guess if I have a 15ml bottle, I'll have to pay the 25ml price.

Dane, you might be better off buying a refill bottle. Then you can use it to refill any size bottles over time.

I've only seen the original Angel and Alien in the refill fountains. Are there more?

They used to do the Cologne as well.

And IIRC Aura has been added. Some photos on the net also show Womanity.

I've not seen Aura yet, but the current fountains include Angel and Alien (Womanity was removed), along with their Exceptions line if you're in the right boutique. No Cologne that I've ever seen.

    Probably all location-dependant.
