    Default Fragrance for First Formal

Last night my 11-year-old went to his first dance (stag), and he borrowed one spray of Chanel Allure Homme Sport from my husband.

What did you wear to your first formal? Do you remember?

I think I wore Estee Lauder's Spellbound to mine. I was 12 or 13 and it was definitely too mature for me!
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

Pretty sure I wore Drakkar or Eternity to the middle school dance. Drakkar killed it back then. I had girls that would stand in the lunch line with me so they could smell me while we waited. Usually in middle school they are trying to get away from your smell.

    More than likely Old Spice.

Great choice with Chanel Allure Homme Sport, I wasn’t into fragrances back then I do recall having a bottle of original Michael Jordan though.

First fragrance I really remember loving and considering mine was Gucci Envy. But that was in late high school.

The first generic, mass market fragrance was most likely Adidas Classic.Classic Blue, the first proper designer fragrance, most likely either Salvador Dali pour Homme or Chevignon Brand or Drakkar Noir-something consistent with the style of these three must have been the dominant personal fragrance preference at that age (mid to late teen, early to mid highschool years)

Oversprayed Davidoff’s Coolwater. I still remember because she would avoid my neck area. Lol. Lesson well learned.

I thought it was a good choice, too. My husband took several off the shelf for him to test. It was adorable.

I loved Drakkar Noir! There was a guy Justin who oversprayed it at church and he was a skinny kid who always had girlfriends.

My older son wore a couple of sprays of Astier de Villatte Eau de Cologne to his primary school 'prom'/ leaving party in the summer but hasn't worn any 'proper' fragrances yet. Feels like teenage years are not far off though!

I'm getting older and I cannot recall. Probably wore nothing except in high school at that point I was wearing Abercrombie Fierce a lot.
