Default SMW not projecting or lasting in winter

for some reason, i spray smw at home and its got good projection and i can smell it and everything, but then i step outside in winter (temperature around -15 celcius) walk to my car and drive to work. once i get to work and i get inside, i cant smell it at all and neither can people near me. it seems as if when i go outside it just dies. for the rest of the day i am basically inside, i only spend like 2-3 mins outside when walking to my car or walking from a diff building to diff building..

is it because this frag is more suited for warmer temps? its pretty warm inside my work place so idk but for some reason it just deactivates

I wonder if the humidity is too low.

It seems fine to me. I picked up a bottle last night, Batch 17Q01 and it's 47 degrees here today in Houston, 4 hours in and I can still smell it.

Interesting. I personally never experienced problems with this one in cold weather.

Where did you buy your smw?

I used to prefer it in winter, but never tried it in such cold weather. More like 5-12 C.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

Should be fine in the cold, are you outside the whole wearing of the fragrance if you are that might effect it. Otherwise even though it’s cold outside and climate is different should be fine indoors and walking out into the cold. Do you have previous experience with Silver Mountain Water, has is always been that way or is your new bottle doing this?

im pretty new to smw, i got two batches.this has been happening with both of my two batches of SMW, a 16F01 and a 17V01. I literally spray it inside at home, 3-4 sprays on neck, wrists, chest, etc. only on my skin. and then i leave my house like 5 mins after spraying. I only spend like 2 mins in the cold walking to my car and then 5 mins in the cold walking from my car to my work front door. i spend the rest of my day insides in warm temperatures. I was expecting it to start projecting and lasting once again when i arrive inside because the temperature in my work is warm, like its not cold or anything. this happens with both batches and they both seem potent.

is somehow the cold freezing the frag because the temperature around here is - 15 degrees celcius ish, but i dont spend that much time outside, majority of my day is inside

SMW actually smells more fresh to me in the dead of winter. It meshes with the cold air and the winter weather makes it smell more fresh with the black currants. Hopefully, it is not a batch issue.
