Default Has ADG Profumo been reformulated at all?

The reason I ask is that I plan to buy a 180ml bottle of this beautiful juice, but wanted to make sure it hadn't been reformulated since I purchased my current bottle last year.

    Thanks in advance

Honestly I would find it hard to believe it had been, going on the basis of probability.

My bottle is a couple of years old at least so hard to say as I haven't tried what's on the shelves much these days.

Why would it be there’s nothing in it expensive or illegal.

I would guess not, but one never knows for sure.

I dont think it has. I refreshed mine at the mall the other day from a full tester bottle and it smelled amazing and lasted what seemed like a normal amount of time. I got a 1.35 oz bottle and a bigger bottle around two years ago when I first smelled the heavenly juice. I want to get a 4 oz bottle to go along with them, but I've just barely almost emptied the 1.35

Thanks guys. Wearing this today for the second day in a row - as soon as I walk into the office two females compliment the smell. I adore this stuff.

Because I can think critically and don’t rely on a “source” to form opinions on anything and everything. I know they don’t teach it in school but you are allowed to think.

Wow, that’s defensive. I’ll play along; does the ability to think critically automatically allow you to identify a scents chemical constituents without analysis or years of experience with aromachemicals?
Does it automatically give you the knowledge about industry standards, recommendations and regulations, or about the legislation in the markets where the fragrance is marketed?
How about fragrance formulation and production or the business decisions that affect it?

You see I’m able to think about all this stuff and then form an educated guess. Ain’t anything in there that’s cause for a reformulation. Then using the scientific method we can do a really cool think called testing a hypothesis which in turn leads us to the conclusion: nothing has been reformulated. Thanks, you were a lukewarm generally unpleasant audience today.

So you basically do not have anything concrete or credible to support your claim?

Educated guess - there is no apparent reason why such a recent release would have been reformulated.
Testing the hypothesis - it smells the same (although I’m not sure how objective one’s nose can be, and personally I wouldn’t give a definitive answer without GC-MS).

Oh wait, I just conferred with my sig., according to BN paranoia theory, yes, it has been reformulated
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

You might have to reformulate your sig now It’s great though, I think of it every time I see a reformulation thread, and I’m so close to just answer yes every time.

This stuff would be great if it lasted more than 30 minutes on my skin, and generally speaking, I usually get good longevity out of fragrances. It could be nose blindness, as my gf says she can smell it on me even when I can't. But, it's like, it's not even there anymore, with my nose touching my arm, within less than an hour. I get much better performance out of Essenza, and got around to buying a bottle of that just a few days ago. Thing is, I do like to smell what I'm wearing, even if it is no more than a waft here and there throughout the day. But with Profumo, nothing. Zip. Zilch. Gone. And, as it pertains to this thread, my bottle was purchased last year, so I'm not implying there's been a recent reformulation.

It's definitely easily prone to give anosmia to the wearer when oversprayed. I found this out when I went with four spritz's or more. Definitely one to spray lightly and away from the nose. This one literally lasts throughout the day and a favourite of my wife. Less is more.

You know, it doesn't get me nose blind for me. If I spray it under my ears it lasts for around 6 hours or so. If I'm wearing something where I can spray it twice on top of each shoulder under a thinner shirt, it last and performs for 12 plus hours. I can put on the same shirt the next day, and not have to respray it, and still get wafts of it some throughout the day.

I have a early 17 batch 120mL and it is pretty beast. Puts a lot of my favorite more expensive frags to shame in the performance category.
