Allure Homme Edition Blanche was a hit when I wore it yesterday. A 150-ml backup bottle is under consideration. I was told it should be in the rotation every month.

I've almost never had as much fun as I've had with my new 150-ml spray of Dior Homme. It really is a nice size for something to wear a lot.

Both are big hits for Mr. Kotori— especially for wearing in Memphis summers, as they last without becoming cloying.

For January, my rotation has been a smashing success. A couple of them have made it into double digits.

February's rotation is heavily influenced by my live-in girlfriend:

    1. Dior Homme
    2. Allure Homme Edition Blanche
    3. Elie Saab Essence No.6 Vetiver
    4. Guerlain Heritage edt
    5. Polo (Cosmair)
    6. Versace L'Homme
    7. Moschino Pour Homme

This has been a favorite of mine for 8 years now and I've yet to grow tired of it. I'm looking for additional backups bottles for this in the Cologne Concentree form. It's just that good of a scent.

My February focus will be to revisit fragrances on my wishlist. I think there are some that won't hold up as FBW. I was on a sampling tear for a while and fell in love with many fragrances that I don't think will stand up to repeated wearings Culling the list!

Fairly recent. We only met in April 2018. She listed her house on AirBNB in September.

My interest in collection building has switched from my collection to hers. There are so many vintage goodies to be had among fragrances marketed to women. Right now we're building up her lifetime supplies of:

    1. Miss Dior;

    2. Guerlain Mitsouko; and

    3. Chanel No. 5.

These have been my favorites on her so far.

January was interesting - learnt some new things about my perfumes & about the differences in how perfumes can smell in just dry heat compared to really extra dry heat. And, no matter how much I love the aroma of big white floral scents they become too cloying & overwhelming on my skin (I think my skin amplifies them) after about 45mins, I end up disliking them & then I have to scrub them off . So, from now on I'll get my white floral fix from home fragrance, hand soaps or a lightly scented lotion or cream.

    Here's my February rotation.

I want to focus on these perfumes in February but there are a few others that I want to see how they perform in February temps. as well.

Tried & true perfumes from last February:
    Bal d'Afrique by Byredo
    Eau Rose by Diptyque
    Moonlight Patchouli by VC&A
    Rose Flash by Tauerville

    New to my February rotation:
34 Boulevard Saint Germain by Diptyque
    Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours
    Iris Goddess by Floral Street
La Petite Robe Noire Couture by Guerlain
    Lemon Sherbet by 4160 Tuesdays
Lime.Basil & Mandarin by Jo Malone
    Mon Guerlain EDP by Guerlain
    No.19 Poudre by Chanel
Wood Sage & Sea Salt by Jo Malone

I've put a few sweet perfumes in this rotation as I wanted to change things up a bit, I've kind of had enough with this summer - too many above 40C extreme heat days!

12th of February update: I have a finish focus scent for this month - my mini/travel size bottle of 34 Boulevard Saint Germain EDT has only a couple of more wearings in it.

How about No. 19? I recently started to enjoy this a lot and find this as a nice alternative to Sous Le Vent which is a bit harder to obtain.

Sous Le Vent is way, way harder to obtain.

No. 19 is nice, and we have a bunch of it, in varying concentrations. No. 19 doesn't work as well for her as No. 5.

No. 22 doesn't work as well either. The old No. 5 edc is the Chanel that has been working the best.

She likes Dior the most. The main three she was wearing when we met were Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely, Miss Dior Le Parfum, and Coco Mademoiselle. Based on a recommendation from Cestrum Nocturnum, she has been wearing Narciso Rodriquez for Her in place of Lovely at times.

Ok, I am starting my February rotation today. I actually haven't rotated since fall...just added stuff to the clutter...so this was nice. My rules, because rules are fun for me:

    1. Samples and decants count!
    2. Synchronized Fridays don't!
    3. Because of #1, I can go a shade over 10.
    4. If I finish a sample or decant, I can replace it to fill out my numbers.

    Ok, here we are!

    Full-sized bottles:

    *Lubin Gin Fizz
*Bottega Veneta Knot (focus finish...will replace. I'm probably going to ask for it for my birthday or Mother's Day)
    *Guerlain L'Heure Bleue
*Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Bleu

    Travel sizes:

*Editions de Perfume Frederic Malle Carnal Flower

    Decants:

*Amouage Dia Woman (scentbird, about 6ml probably)
*Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle (only maybe 1ml left of 5)
*Chanel No. 19 edt (about 5ml)

    Samples:

    *Ormonde Jayne Vanille d'Iris
    *Creed Iris Tubereuse
    *Creed Floralie
    *EdFM Une Rose

That sounds like a lot of fun! If you have time for fragrance shopping, I highly recommend Arielle Shoshana in the Mosaic District of Fairfax. It's just outside the beltway.

Also...Trilby, I love your rotation. I have a sample of Tea for Two that I thought about including this month.

I thoroughly enjoyed my January rotation, and feel like an adult now (as the kid who would have stolen all the marshmallows before the experiment even started, moderation is rare enough to be exciting for me),

    On to February:

    1. Eau Parfumée au Thé Noir
    2. Zoologist Hummingbird
    3. Chanel No. 18
    4. Fat Electrician
    5. Boucheron
    6. Noa
    7. Agent Provocateur
    8. Luctor et Emergo
    9. Poirier d'un Soir
    10. Iranzol

I'm away from home tonight so these are ten that come to mind - quite a motley crew!
