    Default Burberry London first impressions

Really impressed by this one! There is a lot of hype on basenotes for the scent and imo it lives up to it very well. I'm no note expert, but I must say I do love the overall "warmth" I get from the scent, and it has one of the most enjoyable openings I've ever smelled on a fragrance. So in conclusion, thanks all for recommending the fragrance! Blind buys don't always go well, but this one was a definite winner

I purchased it for hubby for Christmas. Found it at TJ Maxx after sifting through a mound of other men's scents. Very much a holiday/Christmas scent, warm and spicy, reminds me of a British fruitcake or Christmas pud in a way. Great value and even better addition to our collections. Highly recommend, especially for the price point (go search out Marshall or TJ Maxx for it).

I agree, so good. I never find any weaknesses. I'm wearing CK One Shock today which is along the same vein but vastly inferior. I'm going to ditch it and wear London (and Pure Havanne) more.

One of Burberry's best. Funny how there's no flankers to it yet. Maybe due to the name. Burberry London Bridge, Burberry London Hyde Park... Sorry, I'm not very inspired today.

For me, a reference tobacco fragrance. It has been reformulated but still smells great, just not quite as rich. Girlfriend adores it on me. A no brainer!

Fantastic fragrance. The citrus in the opening makes it irresistible to me, I honestly get cravings for it like I do for food. People LOVE it too. Men regularly ask me what I'm wearing when I wear it, women say it was designed just to make them swoon. Just wish it had better longevity.

There was a Special Edition from ten years back or so. Notes were a bit different as well, From memory, while I did not sample it, it wasn't really received well here. Just seemed like a ho-hum scent. Would love to see a Parfum, but Burberry is no Dior or Chanel when it comes to flankers.
Seeking: Bottles/decants : of Pomegranate Noir, Midnight in Paris EDP, Feeling Man, Essence of John Galliano, Azzaro pour Homme (vintage),...etc.

Seeking decant/sample of Aramis Calligraphy Rose, Penhaligon's Esprit de Roi, PdE Ambre Russe, Jil Sander Feeling Man ....etc. I have samples to swap.

    More HERE
    Please PM me !

@OP you'd probably also enjoy John Varvatos Vintage, it is similar, but different enough to own both. Very safe blind buy imo.

Very nice fragrance, but as far as I remember, it was quite weak with low projection.

Thank you for sharing these impressions with us, one of the most important strengths, better aspects but also defining features of this fragrance can be described as warm/warmth, also along with a certain spicy, sensual and even boozy and/or spicy hint

It’s a wonderful scent. This one is a favorite of mine around the holidays and well-appreciated in cold weather.

I loved it at first. But as I’ve started to become more experienced with note detection, I’ve found that it’s more of a “Christmas only” fragrance for me.

Blind bought this a few years ago. Didn't care for it for a long time, but the last time I tried it, I kinda liked it. I will be wearing it again soon, but I think I have come around to this one.
