Thumbs down These new overlap ads are so $#_#&$ing annoying!

This site is already just barely bearable as it is on mobile, but adding these ads that overlap the top menu are just too much....I know the site needs revenue, but I sincerely hope there's an alternative ad structure that can be used.

And yes, I know there are ad-blockers, but that won't keep the site running.

Yeah that does look annoying. I’ll take a look next year!

Also very annoying are these new splash ads in the middle of the messages. Note that these splash ads are occurring between posts on a thread. I literally can’t take a picture of the location of the splash ads between posts because they fill more than my mobile screen length. I do usually keep up with Basenotes Plus, but before taking care of that, I thought you’d want to see how this is looking.

My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

Here’s another less egregious example from my other mobile:

Yeah, these are particularly bad. If they managed to size more appropriately I could handle it, but it’s total takeover. Makes it hard to tell whether I’ve reached the bottom of the thread or not. I understand advertising is necessary, but these are rage inducing.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.
