I'm going to go with Creed Green Irish Tweed. This one has this green element that I'm looking for and I can't think of anything better that would be suitable for the countryside of New Zealand.

Started the day, in sync with White Tea by Elizabeth Arden (it has a fern note). I'm now wearing Eau Rose by Diptyque which is also in sync because roses are currently in bloom at the Christchurch Botanical Gardens.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I'm so glad you said that! I wanted to be in sync but didn't have any inspired ideas, and I also wanted roses. Perfect! I'm going for Killer Rose by 4160 Tuesdays and I AM in sync, yay! Just needed a little help.

    Happy Friday, all!

    Hello again,

Let me wish you all a marvelous new year!

Back to reality meanwhile at work but thoroughly enjoyed a quiet and relaxed time at the cabin. Little snow until I left, but meanwhile the snow chaos is on the news everywhere. Will need a snorkel next time I‘ll visit.

Happy Friday to you all with wafts of Tabac Blond coming from this end

Teardrop, I think you're wise to take advantage of that nasty germ and really indulge yourself in comforting surroundings and entertainment.

I looked up fragrant native plants of N.Z., and learned of the lemonwood tree:
This native New Zealand tree is better known for its lemon-scented leaves than its flowers, which are small and pale. However, the flowers produce an almost overpowering honey-like fragrance when they bloom in spring. The flowers, leaves and resin of lemonwood were used as a perfume by Māori.

The scent of that tree sounds amazing. The closest I can get to that today is with Nicolai's Cologne Sologne.

I don't have any smell associations with Christchurch, sadly. I think of NZ as being very lush, and with sheep.

Scented only with pineapple/coconut deodorant for now, and will top off with Jailia when I go home for lunch.

    Santal Blush by Tom Ford

It's been a while since I've worn this (I think diamond_sea gave me a decant of this) - forgot how wonderful it is in cool weather. I smell fantastic.

Robin-in-FL - I tried your technique of applying body oil after a shower yesterday (Tom Ford's Black Orchid Finishing Oil) and I really enjoyed the overall-body-application but also the feeling like it wasn't clogging my pores with too much oil. Thanks!!

Syncing in Dusita's Erawan today. I like it a lot, but I don't think I like it enough to buy a bottle. They sell travel sprays now, so if I crave it after my sample is gone, that'll be less of a commitment.

Thanks guys for all the get well wishes! Resting seems to be doing some good, plus l used the rest of my gift card online toward a 100ml backup bottle of Stash. l'm halfway through the 30ml bottle l bought last year, & l can see myself wanting this one for a long time to come, so this seems to me like a wise move.

If ever a synch had my name on it this has to be the one !. After reminiscing about the amazing views of Christchurch and the Canterbury Plain from the gondola I was left with an easy choice.
