Chanel Bel Respiro Eau de Toilette today
Only the fool would take trouble to verify that his sentence was composed of ten as, three bs, four cs, four ds, forty-six es, sixteen fs, four gs, thirteen hs, fifteen is, two ks, nine ls, four ms, twenty-five ns, twenty-four os, five ps, sixteen rs, forty-one ss, thirty-seven ts, ten us, eight vs, eight ws, four xs, eleven ys, twenty-seven commas, twenty-three apostrophes, seven hyphens and, last but not least, a single!

Go ahead. Test the veracity of this (1960s I think) pre-computer generated masterpiece of self-referential sentences.

    Afternoon all!

Still feeling rough around the edges, but the sun is shining & l've got cabin fever, so we're heading out for lunch. Probably won't stay for too many beers, though.

Chergui worked so well for me yesterday that l'm wearing it again today.

    Hi all!

Sustained first yoga-related injury of the new year new me regime (got a bit over-ambitious and landed on thumb!) so wearing T-Rex as I need to feel fierce enough to do my session later on! I'm getting quite fond of this one - it was the 'oddball' in my January ten bottle rotation. Not a shocker really that I like it - I adore Lonestar Memories...

    I'll celebrate any Larimar-related occasion.

Now, my mood to's and fro's as much as anyone's in the gray of winter, but this morning I was surprised to wake up to the cheery thought "I get to chose another fragrance today." Either I'm learning to derive even more pleasure from perfume, or the rest of my day is so mundane that smell has become the highlight. PG Cadjmere 18, sweet, musty, plant-earthy.

Diorissimo parfum this morning. A boring day ahead of chores, but I'll be humming Elton John songs all afternoon. The concert was great.

I’m testing ELdO Noel au Balcon today. It is cold and dreary here, staying in again watching football. Yesterday was a busy sports day, with both the Chiefs (football) and Jayhawks (basketball) winning! I never did get around to posting, but I was wearing Ambre Dore.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! hugs to all ...
    I've trademarked the color bleu

Oh that sucks; I’m sorry! You never know how important your thumbs are until one is injured; I know.

My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

What an amazing experience that must have been! I haven't seen Sir Elton live yet, but it's definitely on my bucket list.

You are quite welcome! It's my husband's new favorite. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

I just ordered the body butter, and I'm looking forward to trying it. I've been layering the perfume with Tiare Monoi body lotion from Thymes before bed and it's addictive.

I'm retesting VC&A's Precious Oud today. It's Black Orchid-ish but with poorer performance, sadly. I'll probably drain the sample today.

Here are the first tattoo pics! This was my first session; I go back in 4 weeks. We still have to completely redo the linework and color on the original tattoo (upper arm) and add color to the new part, so I probably have at least 2 more sessions. Whew! I'm happy so far, just sore and whiney.

The tattoo itself was inspired by a Japanese woodblock print by Kaigetsudō Dohan. I loved the irregular kimono pattern and the stages of blooms from budding to fresh to wilting. I still love it after 15 years, so that bodes well for the future!
