Default Maison Christian Dior & Les Exclusifs de Chanel

I know by now that these lines have changed and many fragrances have been reformulated. Is it still worth it at this point in time to explore these lines?
    Current Fragrance Rotation:

    Banana Republic 78 Vintage Green
    Bvlgari Aqua Amara
    Dior Sauvage
    Encre Noire Sport
    Mugler Ultra Zest

    IMO - Absolutely.

    Yes!

I would make an effort in seeking samples/decants of the discontinued ones as well as there's quite a few gems.

Yes, there are still many wonderful things. Not all have been reformulated, plus some that have are still good.

Does anyone have suggestions on which ones are good? Also curious about this line.

To each his own, but of the Chanel EDPs, I am most impressed with Sycomore, Coromandel, La Pausa, Bois des Iles and Cuir de Russie. 1932, Misia, and Beige are also great. I felt 31 Rue Cambon was destroyed by reformulation and I only wear the edt, but ymmv.
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

    CCW

As kotori was saying, everybody will have his or her own list.
In Chanel, I agree that Cuir de Russie and Bois des isles are probably the most classic and admired (even in reformulation), followed by Coromandel and Sycomore (Sycomore with some comments about the reformulation). I also love Misia and La Pausa.

In Dior, probably the most talked about is Leather oud, which I love. Oud Ispahan is in the same vein.
