A Series, These Sinful Three by Ikiryo which include: Vanilla Opi-Oud, Blood Cherry cordial, and Applerum and Jasmine. Looks like I'll end up adding these to the directory.

    I'm going full-on niche lately, aren't I???

I fell in love with a review by kumquat for Violette a Sydney by Laura Tonatto, and was looking around for a sample of it. I could never come up with a tester, so I decided to blind-buy it. That’s how much that review spoke to me.

I’ve never bought any fragrance blind, I just don’t do it, because with my skin and my chemistry, I have to take it fragrance by fragrance. But I just knew this fragrance was going to work, so I picked it up off eBay today. Now I know how those people that blind-buy a fragrance feel, lol. I never understood it before now.

I was also noting how many small bottles you are able to find! I wish everything came in 10ml.

I really have to look around to find small bottles. I'm just not in the market for larger ones anymore, unless I LOVE it.

Earlier in the week I bought:

    - Vintage Eau d'Hermes by Hermes (copper top)
    - Vintage Jicky Eau de Toilette by Guerlain (I have owned EdC and I currently own Parfum de Toilette and Parfum [vintage and new] so I'm gonna to see how the vintage EdT differs on this one
    - Vintage Dunhill for Men Cologne by Dunhill (total blind buy!)
    - Vintage Mugler Cologne in a 30 ml splash bottle (that I got for a steal! I've smelled this and enjoyed this for years but I've never owned a bottle. I did own Shower Gel that I was gifted by a BN buddy and really enjoyed that. Now that Mugler has officially disco'd MC and renamed it, I thought it was a great opportunity to add this to my Wardrobe and have a Summer 2019 scent to take on my Summer Vacation and splash w/ abandon!
    - Neroli Sauvage by Creed (I've wanted a bottle for eons...and the shop owner sold it to me at a 50% discount so I had to spring for it). It will be my Spring / Summer 2019 weekend scent, for sure!

Flathorn, what a pleasant surprise to see you landing here!

Mike is clearly treating himself, as well he should.

Hednic, do tell us at some point what made this particular fig wardrobe worthy.

Thanks. I have no Creed's on my To Buy List, but one of these days I will buy a decant of Feuille Verte. I haven't worn it in a while and it's such a great Summer scent. Maybe next summer.

HI y'all. I went back to that mom & pop pharmacy and picked up one of their three remaining Mitsouko EDT bottles from the late 80s which cost me $16. I sprayed one a while ago and it smelled as though it turned which deterred me from buying any of the 3 but, silly me for assuming all were faulty, I tried one of the refills and it smelled amazing. I have a vial of Mitsouko parfum from 2014 and this EDT smells fairly similar but the moss is definitely stronger and more earthy in character.

    Today i bought

Prairie Nymph 50ml and Smoked Ambergris small travel spray.

Prairie Nymph is a wonder, a persistent (hyper-persistent) citrus that doesn't smell like floor cleaner. It's by far my favorite from them. And I'm nearly out of Jailia so could use something happy smelling like this.

Smoked Ambergris is just an irresistible idea, may be a terrible smell, but maybe good, and maybe something to layer. here is the description, again I can't tell, it sounds sort of awful and sort of awesome:

notes: grey ambergris, a billow of smoke and faded jasmine blended over expensive musk

Not familiar with either house, thanks for sharing. “Slag Pile” though? Not sure I’d want to smell like “Infected Bramble” or “Old Crone” either... A rose by any other name, I suppose!
