Default Anyone care to share their CTM morning routine with me?

    Good morning beautiful people!

I was wondering what products you use for your cleanse, tone and moisturise
    routine each morning.

Personally, I cleanse and tone with Clarins products because I love the smell
and the way they make my skin feel (comfortable and clean.)
I then apply some The Ordinary Caffeine solution around my eye area followed by Vichy Serum 89 with HA and finally an SPF 15
cream (in winter) - Neutrogena do a good one that doesn't make my face greasy.

I also use The Body Shop (discontinued) vitamin C instant complexion enhancer
when my skin needs an extra boost.

I'm cheap. I use St. Ives products for cleansing. Roc, for moisturizing.

Nothing wrong with that HOP! We all have different skin needs and budgets.
I ask for my Clarins products for birthday/xmas presents from my sons and I
order The Ordinary products online, where they are reasonably cheap.

Eons ago I loved using Evian Brumisateur as a pick-me-up. I haven't seen those cans for sale anywhere around here since, I don't know when.

Ideas for more products to try from this thread...

Right now, in the cold of the winter, I don't usually cleanse in the am. If I do, I use Cerave Hydrating cleanser. Then I put ceramides on (Elizabeth Arden drops), and then some other hydrating cream. These days of extreme cold, I go with something thick and occlusive (Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream), but usually it's something lighter (eg Bioderma or Avene legere). I don't usually put SPF in the winter, unless it's very sunny and I'm planning to stay out more than 15 min.

In the summer, it would be different. No ceramides, then just hyaluronic acid (Vichy serum) and an SPF cream (Avene legere).

I see some of you use vitamin C. I am a little unsure whether I should do or not. I don't know if the evidence is strong, plus there is the issue of stability. Those nice fresh C vitamin things can be expensive. I'm experimenting with La Roche Posay Redermic C, but not sure I will continue.

Freeman. I use their products, too. Very inexpensive and they do the job. Scrubs of theirs, are great.

In winter Cleanse changes from Made for life Organics ( used to be spieza) cleansing balm or Sarah Chapman ultimate cleanse,
Tone rose water again from made for life organics Then as I can’t bear liquid foundation on my face or heavy powders I mix up sweet almond oil with vitamin c and rose oil from Aesop. Or I will just use nars aqua mask as a moisturiser if I’m in a rush and spray slyvia chantieceille rose de mai rose water during the day especially when heating is on everywhere.

If handbags and perfumes are my hobby skincare is probably my obsession since the age of 12.

Have just invested in naturica Siberia, dr alkitis (sp but the guy who drinks all his products ) , oskia skincare, and anything by Annie de Mamiel. Bit disappointed in tata harper way too exspensive for what it is..Environ is amazing along with Rhodes to heaven (/they worked with jo malones mother the brilliant facialist ) and skineuticals and when I’m tired smother my face in Korres saffron elixir ....it’s better than Kanebo for me which i love.

And that’s the morning routine !

    That's interesting, Donna.
I always moisturise my ear lobes but not the back of my neck.
Maybe I ought to do it. I have long hair though so would have to tie it up first!

Thanks for your revelations everyone. I find it interesting to hear which products you
all rate or otherwise. That Korres saffron elixir sound good, Searoses, not sure if they sell
it here though. I do love their body and hand creams, however.

We have those Evian brumisateur cans over here, HOP, and I
find them great to use in the heat of summer.

    Hi Kewart

The saffron elixir I have trouble finding in Greece. It’s just superb and at 58 euros with kouzani saffron. When I asked what was going on they answered the Japanese and Chinese tourists are ringing ahead and booking this elixir.

There are some amazing body products that have just been released including some quickly absorbing all organic milks but I didn’t have room as my friends gave me a shopping list a mile long

    Warmest regards

Yes, the Evian spray on the face in summer, was the best. I suppose I might find them online, if I looked...

Yes I second what Donna says I oil up behind my neck as well. And when I had time there are countless Japanese skin care YouTube’s on doing with whatever cream/oil/balm those Japanese face massages. It’s like riding a bike really once you watch a few and learn the techniques you just do them naturally. And they are incredible.

Tone: Chanel Sublimage supreme lotion then Shiseido Ultimune power-infusing concentrate then Chanel Sublimage creme
Moisturise: Chanel Hydra beauty creme then Sublimage UV spy

Yeah, yeah... I smoke and drink enough that I need to pay attention to it

Somedays I'm too lazy to do anything about it though
Yeah, Montgomery Clift could get it

    Hi there.
Thanks for posting. I did try the pixi Glow tonic but it didn't suit my skin and brought
    me out in spots.

This is an oldie thread but I just found it!

For the record, I have sensitive skin that gets red. I cannot use retinol right now.

I follow a modified Asian skincare routine using a mix of Western and Asian products. I found it to be the best for me.

    AM:
Wash face in shower - Currently using Fresh's Soy Cleanser or Avene Cleansing Foam
Tone/Skin condition - naturie skin conditioner (Japanese) or Avene's Gentle Toning Lotion
Face oil - Sisley's Black Rose oil
Moisturize - naturie poured into the palm with a few drops of Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion
Serum - either Paula's Choice antioxidant OR innisfree green tea serum. If it's hot outside or muggy I skip this step
Moisturizer - pending weather. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer OR Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance Light OR Embryolisse - Lait Creme Concentre Hydrating Emulsion

    PM:
First cleanse (oil) - either KOSE SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil (cheap!!!!) or Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil (more $$$ but better)
Second cleanse - same cleansers as AM
Skin conditioner - naturie usually. I have some decanted in a spray bottle and spritz on
Acid/Exofoliant (every 2-3 days) - either a Vitamin C treatment or an AHA/BHA treatment. Currently using The Ordinary for both right now (Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid).
Moisturize - HEAVY moisturizer. I rotate depending on skin needs and use it like a mask, have a few Asian ones and others in rotation.

Pampering/extra care treatment. I have a number of gentle face masks that I do every now an then, usually 20-30 minute after the chemical exfoliation bit (AHA/BHA). My favorite is the Black Rose Mask from Sisley. I also use sheet masks every now and then too. Almost all my moisturizers are heavy occlusive during the fall and winter months. I will also use Nivea (blue tub) on my face before bed sometimes.

Seems like a lot, but on days I don't wear makeup, for example, I go to bed without washing my face, usually on the weekends.

I subscribe to a few beauty boxes and my favorite is the Sisley one. I also have items from Sephora Play! and Birchbox. Sometime I get good stuff, other times I don't.

Yeah - the mask is. I have so many from sample and through the Sisley monthly box that I have managed to skirt around buying the full bottle. Same with the face oil.

I don't do all the steps all the time. This morning it was simply wash, skin toner, light moisturizer.
