They keep saying their failure to deliver is because "the business was closed or no one was home." We are l.i.t.e.r.a.l.l.y always home. I know the driver just won't admit they can't find us. I've emailed FE a couple times, they have our phone number, and our account has specific "just north of this/west of this" instructions. Arghhh.
Quarry, I've had to call Fedex because they did this - I live on a regular street in a house they have delivered to plenty of times but whenever a signature is required they don't even TRY, they just run up, quietly stick the notice to the door and slink off before the dog can even bark, they don't knock at all. I am pretty sure that Fedex does not give the drivers enough time to actually deliver everything on their truck. At least they don't literally just drive by and throw it at the house like UPS.

Here's wishing you some energy, inees. I sympathize with the tired-all-the-time push that goes on. I know it's very wearing, as pretty soon you also get tired of being tired. Hang in there and play this song as loud as you can. I'll find you another one for actual Galentine's Day.

Vetiver and lemons on this soon-to-be very blustery winter day. It has snowed, rained and iced over in the past 12 hours...50mph winds on the way. I'm really spent with all that mother nature has thrown at us in the last month and a half. If it weren't for family and great jobs we would have a Uhaul packed and bound for a place with a more temperate climate.

((teardrop)), I'm so glad to hear the easing back into work is going well.

Y'all have the humor up in here dialed to 11 today

We have almost 5 inches of new snow, but the skies are a clear, bright blue, the sun is shining, the wind is minimal (for here), and temps are just below freezing. If I weren't working, I'd be out snow hiking (sans snow shoes). If the sun is shining and it's above 20F, I'm generally down with whatever. The minute it gets around 80F, I'm grumpy.

I was in Long Beach, Carson and Santa Ana a few weeks back for work. I would love to move out to Orange County! I was trying to convince my wife of how awesome it is out there and that we should look at Santa Ana/Irvine but she saw the prices of homes in the area and that was the end of that pipe dream for me :-/

    Ho Hang by Balenciaga

Yeah I remember I said last time I didn't like this. But I'm sampling it again. You know how it is - sometimes it takes more than once. And today, I *really* enjoyed the dry down. So I am glad I wore it again. I have enough to wear it a 3rd time - I think next time I'll wear it when its super hot in Summer. Let's see. In the meantime I can see, from the base notes, the brilliance in this. I also have a sample of Ho Hang Club, an entirely different fragrance. Haven't worn it yet.

Cook.bot - love the Shalimar acronym interpretation. It made me giggle
Quarry - at least FedEx isn't as bad as the US Post Office. Just sayin...

And please stay warm everyone it sounds *really* cold in a lot of your parts. It is very warm here in Miami - I currently have the A/C on and I'm shirtless.

Do you get a lot of oakmoss from this one? I thought it was blended in really well with the other notes. A nice floral chypre scent.
