Default Ensar Oud Mustafa (2013) - Help

    VideoCapture_20190218-142818.jpg

    Hi all,

I have a bottle of Ensars Oud Mostafa from 2013. I've never used the bottle and I've always kept it in a dark cool place. I decided to take out my oud Mustafa bottle and it has some weird looking thing inside it. Can anyone please advise me on what's happened there?

Can’t tell from the pic what you’re referring to.

Apologies. Bad camera work. It's a strange white substance.

Did you buy it from EO, or from some re-seller?

Has the oil got congealed, even a little bit?

    What about the scent profile?

This particular beaviour of the oil leads towrads its being diluted with some oil other than Oud.

Thank you for the reply. It was purchased directly from Ensar and all my other ouds which are stored in the same place seem perfectly fine.

The scent profile seems perfectly fine.

But it is an interesting case study. I think respected Oudamberlove might have this oil. So, his comments will do.

IO's Viet Zephyr and LMK's Hindi oil got congealed in winters, but no such white patches/ spots.

Exactly. White spots are there in oil. Some distiller can address to the issue. I feel it is due to the presence of some other ingredient other than Oud, or possibly the oil had not been cured well. Both cannot be expected from the EO.

I did have similar issue with ensar oud yousuf around 5 years ago, only around a week after receiving the oud become very cloudy and with white spots and bubbles all over.
Email the company and they say I can send it back for replacement and for them to investigate.
Long story short they say never receive it back it was sent with International priority mail and the tracking did show it was received, so they did not give me any explanation why it was happened.
Also after that the partner start CC on the emails the owner of the company and I was “kindly” advise by him that the only way to get a replacement bottle was if I buy another product so they can send back to me a replacement bottle.

Hello, Peter, nice to see you ACTIVATED through this post

Well, if I share my experiences, such incident happens when low quality essential oils or third class synthetics are infused in some pure oils. Second, if the oil is not cured well, such anomalies are possible.

But since today, I haven't experienced such spots in any of EO's oils. And the oils that got congealed were not from Agar Aura and EO.
