Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. The time change is not treating me so well this morning. I had a rough time falling asleep which is nothing new but waking up was definitely more difficult than usual.

Monday, Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way

Maybe some vintage Dior-Dior will help me get through it.

    Eeegghh, so sorry Trilby.

Ooooo, MONDAY. Early to bed and early to rise---to bed yesterday at 4pm (which my body thinks is 3pm) for a nap and up today at 4am. My phone (Verizon) also hasn't gotten word of Daylight Savings Time. My computer knows. My radio controlled clocks x 2 know. My smartphone....not so smart. I've fiddled with the clock app, and did nothing to set the clock as far as I know. Now...it comes up with the right time when I swipe to unlock and it shows my "home screen" but still regular time on the phone's opening screen and in the top right corner. This is driving me crazy.

I don't recall having this problem in previous years.

Today, for a difficult day ahead of re-drawing boundaries, I am wearing my favorite of the moment combination of Love's Baby Soft, Teint de Neige oil parfum, and A Lilac a Day.

Commiserating healing vibes for ExtremeK and Mr. Teardrop and anybody else in need. This darn cold rallied against me, so while I applied Lolita Lempicka, I cannot smell it at all. Hoping one more day on the couch with tissues will turn the tide.

(((Zilpha))) Your concerns about your parents must be emotionally taxing. Take care of yourself.

Trilby, plumbing issues are the most inconvenient and potentially costly. Hope things turn out okay.

The sun is shining, and we can expect spring-like weather toward the end of the week. Better days are coming.

Good afternoon, all! Hope ExtremeK and all other sickies are improving. Mr. PL came home with it a little while ago and my sinuses and throat are beginning to act up. Looks like we're on our way. At this point, I think it would be easier to make a list of those who didn't get the Great Nasty Cold of 2019.

Feel better wishes also for caz's shoulder!

Best of luck and my (unfortunately experienced) sympathies to Trilby Lark. Some days, home ownership can be a drag! Hope it is all better very soon!

Revisiting Chanel's Paris-Deauville, which I thought I needed for spring. However, I'm back to craving new bath goodies, as happens from time to time. What I probably really need is a box of No.5 soaps, lotions and potions and Deauville isn't convincing me otherwise atm. A sample to revisit later, maybe. I guess not craving a new perfume is a good thing?
