Default Liquid color of Caesar Man Legendary Cologne Spray.

The new stuff is made in China and is no longer called Legendary, so it's easy to tell the difference. What I've noticed in the Legendary bottles is that some are a straw color, others are a bright, unnatural green, and yet others are a less intense though darker green. I think the straw color is the oldest (I have a really old 1 oz splash bottle with that color liquid), but I'm curious about the bright green versus the more muted green (the newest, non-Legendary also seem to be a paler/muted green). Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

Hmmmm....I'm surprised no one has joined in here.

This is my bottle. It's a little more green than what you describe. Maybe it's not the original release but it's not the most current. It reads "Park Place Entertainment Dist. Las Vegas,NV" on the bottom of the bottle. I've seen some that read "Caesar's World Merchandising Dist. Los Angels, CA". The juice in these looks more like what you describe. It smells great to me. It has performed very well today.

Yes I think that was the second formulation. The first reminded me a bit of Paco Rabbane PH, whereas the one you have reminds me more of Drakkar Noir. I was wondering if there was a 4 oz bottle originally, because I'm not sure if I've seen anything other than 1 and 2 oz bottles with a yellow-ish liquid (and the word Legendary on the bottle).

I always thought it was always a Drakkar Noir clone? That's interesting that it was a little bit like Paco at first. I would love to have a Paco Rabanne PH variant.

I think this is the only one I've seen in 4 ounces, other than the new one without Legendary on it. The other picture seems to show black lettering that is not as thick. Or is that just due to lighting conditions and angle?

It's the lighting....the lettering is the same color.

Yeah...It was weird when these all of a sudden became available for $20 each (instead of over $100). One of the worst re-formulations I've ever smelled.

The bottle I have in use pictured below is Park Place (Dist Las Vegas, not Los Angeles). I bought this new on eBay maybe in 2016. For what the comparison is worth, here is a bottle of Nobile Royalty I got from FNet maybe two years ago as well. (The image alone tells the story as to which one I prefer.) The color appears to have changed over the years. I don't know the time range in which Alexander Da Costa produced this (anyone?) or, of course, the conditions under which it was kept before I bought it, so I couldn't speculate as to the reason for the variance. There's actually still some green in it but next to the retina-searing green of the Caesars, it's comparatively imperceptible. Stock images of Nobile Royalty show bright green contents.

But based on this, I would certainly expect some bottles of Caesars to turn that straw color over time or due to conditions. Without regard to my zero knowledge of chemistry, it seems to me that they are birds of a feather and could behave more or less the same under the same conditions.

I have another bottle of Caesars from Caesars LV dist. It's sealed behind plastic and in front of an opaque background in a gift set so a direct comparison is difficult, but it looks about the same color as the one pictured as best as I can observe.

And speaking of greenness, behold, the 1000ml family size!

    cm1000ml.jpg

It's a shame there's nothing there that visually demonstrates its relative size. The description indicates that the bottle is 12" x 5.5." Yours for $400 (or $37/mo). Not a bad price for purchasing in volume.

I can't recall whether I've ever purchased anything from this seller before. The name does sound vaguely familiar.
