Default Had no idea there was an Aventus clone by Zara

Son of perfumer Michel almairac said he shops for clothes at Zara because he doesn't like to spend alot of money on expensive clothes.
He tried one of their fragrances and said it is a total ripoff of Aventus and has very good longevity as well.
Under 20 dollars. Which one is he talking about??
Can't have the same quality but he says it's really good.
And he's a perfumer to boot..

Zara 'Vibrant Leather' edp (??!) which smells good but lasts 1 hr tops on me no matter how many sprays...….no clue why this is called an edp.
(in almost every 'Zara thread' this fragrance has already been discussed by the way)

    - Dolce & Gabbana: Pour Homme (vtg)
    - Paco Rabanne: Pour Homme (vtg)

There are also a few with exactly the same juice (rip off of Invictus/Invictus Acqua) called Seoul, Man Blue Spirit or Teahupoo and there is even another one.
Also the Aventus copy has already been bottled in at least 3 different bottles with different names.

Benjamin almairac says his father made two more Gucci pour homme clones :
    Bentley Absolute for men
    Papyrus Oud
    Interesting!!
    Interview is on fragrantica..
Michel almairac doesn't like incense in fragrances so papyrus Oud has less of it compared to Gucci pour homme but says it's a copy that was intended because Gucci pour homme has become like a religion.

I think this clobe named Vibrant Leather was massively discussed at basenotes. Not a clone really, but something fresher with a good longevity.

I like this edp a lot, most people say it doesn't last long, I'll try to find ways to extend the performance... Moisturiser, Vaseline, iso e super etc
