It's very nice and the styling is classic. It's a model that has endured. I love my Royal Oak also although it's a different model than yours. Unfortunately I haven't worn mine for quite a while.

Wow I missed this thread. Nice collection Hednic.

Out of curiosity what are some of your investment pieces? A few in my collection have gone up a lot, but I don't particularly buy them for investment purposes.
    Do you even niche?

I watched an online video about the process this company uses to make their watches, or a similar company, and it was interesting. It's heartwarming to hear your family was so supportive. Too much groaning in the background can take the therapy out of retail therapy.

Thank you very much for the kind words . Among them are a Breguet, a Girard Preregaux, a Cartier, a Piaget, a Blancpain and an Audemars Piguet, with the others evenly split between Pateks and Vacherons. They include tourbillons, perpetual calendars, and diverse complications, some of which are jeweled, and one very rare Patek Grand Complication.

Yes the top-notch attention to detail and quality by this company is spectacular, and you're right - family support does lessen any potential anxiety associated with a purchase of this magnitude.

Just picked up this beauty for $330 on eBay. I really like the look of Baume and Mercier watches.

It is very thin. 42 MM diameter, the strap is in great shape...I was watching the auction like a hawk last weekend! I thought I'd have to go up to $500. If Creed is my niche cologne house, it looks like B&M might be my watch brand.

I like B&M quite a bit also as you can tell by the fact that I sport 6 in my collection above.

Very clean-looking face and exceptionally elegant Roman numerals. Congrats!

Chuck, your watch looks like it comes from the B&M series "Classima". Looks very similar to mine in Box 5, Watch 5 above. It's a classic look! Is it a quartz, manual, or automatic? Very nice.

You are correct! It's the Classima, their entry tier. It's quartz much to my delight. I am so lazy about putting automatics on my winder. Although I did remember to put my Submariner on the winder this AM.

I also own the smaller 40 mm Classima with the beautiful blue face and the tan suede strap. Great work and church watches.

    Nice variety.
Surprised that some of those brands have pieces that went up in value. But my knowledge is limited to the last 10 years or so lol. It's interesting how the "hot models" today are determined by what's popular on Instagram.

As mentioned previously, I've not bought any watches as investments, but have been lucky in that some have gone up by sheer chance. Not that I'd sell them, yet.

This guy's was "only" a Rolex, but turned out to be more than "non-investment" grade: from $345 to $700,000.

I hear you. Unfortunately I have many automatics so even though I have a 12-slot winder, I still have to rotate them even when I no longer regularly use them.
