Nice I go to Whole Foods all the time. I didn't consider them selling fragrances.

Check out the fragrance section next time you’re there! It’s by the makeup, soap, etc. Besides Pacifica (and several other brands), they also sell Kuumba Made fragrance oils that I loove, Egyptian Musk and Persian Garden are my favorite.

Got a nearly full bottle of Balenciaga Quadrille, splash, coming soon. Hopefully it isn't too far gone.

Wow, I never got to try Quadrille.

And I like the Pacifica products for something fun and simple. I'm surprised they discontinued their candles because that is what they started out with. I really liked their little pillars. Spanish Amber was my favorite amber and the Orange Blossom was lovely. They had a lot better throw than many an other brand that I have paid more money for.

    Nice! I want this.

A bottle of my current love, Au Couer du Desért. I usually buy a decant first, but with Au Couer I totally skipped that process.

I had tested all of them except George et Moi, which is nice, and Devastatingly Chic.
I'll probably get rid of the last one, not yet sure.

I'm currently hosting a sample pass for a house called Rouge Perfumery. I think you might find this house quite interesting. It focuses on Non-IFRA based fragrances with an ode to vintage styled fragrances. I highly recommend sampling this line

That's something that I wanted to smell from SHL but never got around to trying. Do you detect any vanilla from it?

There is absolutely a creamy vanilla. N.CAL. Taklamakan is elegant, refined and quite well blended. There is a note of freshness from bergamot and a very subtle rose against a bed of cedar and sandalwood. The iris is modest, and I get brief touches of the patchouli. Benzoin pairs quite well with the vanilla to bring it forward, but all the notes really are so well balanced that nothing leads. The accords seem to dance in and out for brief moments throughout my day. It's really fantastic.
